Rather Hit and Miss regarding Gas/ Electric Prepayment Cards or Keys. Sometimes they allow you to purchase credit with a Debit card, sometimes they do not, and so they demand cash only, which can be awkward if the nearby Lloyds bank has empty Cash machines at 06.00am. Seriously beginning to think that it might be down to the Mood of the shop assistant on the particular day that you visit. I did think that if you display the PAYZONE sign above your shop then that particular business is required to accept payment by either Credit or Debit Card, or Cash, but I was recently informed that this is not the case and it is down to the discretion of the shop. But I would think that providing good customer service would come into play, but it seems not. Irrespective of this, there are plenty of alternatives nearby who allow Card payment through PAYZONE so I will now be perusing this instead .

Good little convenience store, shame the post office shut it's not easy for the elderly in the area to walk to town. Good range of sweets and crisps, won a fiver last time I bought a scratch card there

Started a delivery for my mum who is 84 years old and unable to walk far.
She is charged for this service,I am informed the boss delivers the papers but is to lazy to walk 1 flight of stairs to put it through her letter box.
So papers remains downstairs in front entrance as cant be bothered.

Staff always friendly and polite, good little "corner shop" and one of the few places that will still do newspaper deliveries.
