At Iceland in Houghton le Spring today my friend felt really unwell, like she was going to faint. All of the staff were really supportive, kind & helpful especially Ellie, she went out of her way to do everything she could for my friend even came outside when she went in her break to check we could get home & my friend was ok. What an amazing young lady an absolute credit to your team. Thank you Ellie you are a lovely person.

Ordered through just eat. Delivery was good but half my order was missing after being marked as delivered and was also given mouldy produce. From what I’ve read I’m glad I went through just eat as I was able to get fully refunded for the missing and mouldy items

Was in yesterday 17/2/2024. Shambolic, drivers messing about at the back of the store when shoppers were in. Lots of missing items on the shelves, lots of empty spaces. Nearly every fridge had food all over the bottom of the where bags had burst. Checkout staff chatting, rather than serving, even missed a shoplifter who got away. Delivery arrived without any notification, didn't receive notification until an hour after the delivery had been made. Compared to when it first opened, has gone down in my estimation and requires a severe shake-up.

There a good store and food is good massive selection of what you need. Ordered my shopping to be delivered and they didn't turn up ended up collecting it my self even though I slung extra items in to get the delivery. Didn't get a refund either 🙁 the staff are very helpful and always try to make you feel okay and welcomed. Very good store. Well worth shopping here

Terrible, only 2 tills open and both were occupied with trolley load deliveries. Staff on the tills had to scan, pack and load the delivery baskets of full trolleys which took an age, whilst many others had to wait. Improvements that would help are more open tills, delivery only tills or assistants to help with packing and delivery basket loading. Whilst we were waiting several shoppers left their goods behind rather than wait. Improvements are required and I won't be back in a hurry.

Normally only one till open. If they are sorting a home delivery out they just go into meltdown and you can expect a good 20 minute wait for other till to open. Staff argue among themselves. Not all staff are trained for the tills. Back to Lidl for me.
