Had a fantastic experience with the paint-mixing service at B&Q Huntingdon. The lady who assisted me, an Indian staff member, forgot her name, but she was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, kind and patient. Saturday 28th December. I would just like to let B&Q management know about the very helpful young man who came to my assistance when I was alone in the garden department, struggling to lift landscape bark onto one of the flat trolleys! He was one of the most personable, cheery and polite young men I’ve come across in a long time, helped me at the till and loaded the 2 bags into my car. I think his name was Hamaash, forgive if I not got that quite right! Please pass on my thanks to him again, he is a credit to your store.

This B&Q in Huntington was visited for a really quick shop. I asked the staff where a specific product was and they pointed me to the garden centre outside. Unfortunately the member of staff had got it wrong and I wasted five minutes trying to find what I wanted. But on the plus side of have me an opportunity to grab a couple of photos for this review. Plenty of plants outside and a good variety too.
Plenty of parking in front of the shop, maybe it could do with a few more parent and child spaces.

I went to this store as I urgently needed kettle leads to power a PA system that evening. I asked a member of staff if they stocked them and they told me no, they were only stocked in certain stores. I then spent the next hour visiting other stores in the area. In the meantime, a friend looked online to find that this B&Q DID in fact have kettle leads in stock. My friend and I went back to the store and told the member of staff that they did have kettle leads, only for them to respond 'I can't be expected to know all the stock we have'. This is what stock check is for, instead of just assuming there is no stock. Very poor service. Unfortunately I didn't get this staff members name.

Store emloyees are not happy when u asking for help they send u to look for item even u dont know how its look when u choise to buy something they are give you damege box insteat that what u point on i lost my interest to shop there anymore last time was already open box we ask why its open and they reply we check if its all inside but other people have factory seal on so they try sell something what already been return or open by somebody for same price!
