Hinchingbrooke Hospital is well arranged and adequately staffed to deliver the best medical services. The hospital is adequately serviced ensuring clean and welcoming environment. The patients are given best medical support available. The staff are great responding to call bells urgently and professionally.

On Saturday I had to take a trip to A&E. often finding hospitals an unpleasant experience, this time that was not the case at all. I especially want to highlight the great service at the pharmacy inside the main hospital. I was served by an older gentleman wearing a blue ‘volunteer’ polo. He was so friendly and just had such a joyous demeanour. I’m sad I didn’t quite catch his name but I hope he knows what a fabulous job he’s doing!

I went to A&E after cutting the end of my finger very badly. The receptionist was great very quick, kind and thoughtful. I didn’t have to repeat any details and only had to wait 5 minutes before seeing a triage nurse and it was another 5 minutes before seeing my nursing practitioner. He was great as well and really set me at ease. He reassured me about the injury and was totally amazing. I was in and out within half an hour, what a fantastic service and what amazing people. Full marks to Hinchingbrooke A&E and the NHS.

I got transferred here for a same day c section to deliver my baby. Not living in the county, I knew nothing about this hospital. I was so impressed and happy to be there though! All the staff were kind and lovely, from the moment I walked into the delivery area to the lilac ward. I received such great care from everyone, they were kind and attentive all around the clock. It was not over crowded, and I was so impressed with the self service kitchen. I was originally upset I had to travel to a different county to have my baby at such short notice, but I honestly struck gold getting sent here. It was such a better experience to my first c section delivery at my large local hospital!

Thank you to all the staff involved between the 8th Jan-11th Jan!!! You're all amazing.

Very good hospital out patients visited. Clean very spacious environment. Staff all very helpful, couldnt do enough for us with information needed. Main part hospital has shop & Costa Café. Toilets spaced around. Disabled parking outside. Other parking for patients depending on time of day can be difficult to get a space. Private parking expensive. Machines at different places to pay for parking.

My husband was suffering from intense chest pain and had a very nasty chesty cough, he had been unwell for a few days.
We arrived by car, as we had been advised that this was quicker than waiting for an ambulance.
He was seen within a few minutes,
the staff were lovely, despite the place being packed.
It was a long wait, but when we got to see a doctor she was great, reassuring and caring.
The staff are doing a wonderful job, under great pressure.
Thank you , we are in our 70's so anxious about what could be happening.
So greatful to you all in A&E.

I think people should remember that if we lived in America, one would be paying thousands of dollars for treatment.

Had to bring my dad to A and E yesterday as he felt unwell. Hospital staff were lovely. We were never made to feel that we were wasting anybody’s time even though it was possibly just trapped wind in the end. Had blood tests and pain relief. We are very lucky to have access to this hospital. Rarely have we had to wait more than 3 hours to be seen.

Just like to say a huge thank you to all the staff at Hinchingbrooke, had a visit to A&E, for their attention sincere care and friendly relaxed way of going about things.
Also big thanks to the ambulance crew, although did not need their lift to the hospital, the way they made me feel relaxed and able to get across my problem and their sound advice, which I followed.
You may have to wait a while, not the only person with a problem, but never forgotten and you do get there.
