Absolutely 5 star service!
Such an Aladdin’s cave of goodies!
I needed help and advice today and a wonderful lady of a fair few years like myself did her upmost to help me!
Wow, she was fantastic… knowledgable advice and didn’t give up until she found me the perfect girth for my horse.
I’m new to the area, Im so thankful to have to have such an amazing place I can go to for great products and advice…oh and a cute dog too!

Awful experience today. Asked to have my daughter fitted for a body protector. Lovely young lad asked us to wait upstairs for 5 mins. 20 mins later and still waiting; but no big deal. Really grumpy older lady appears, no social/customer skills whatsoever. Literally 5 mins fitting a protector for my daughter, who found it uncomfortable and wanted to think about it. Big sign saying body protectors are non-returnable, so I wasn't going to spend £££ if she wasn't totally happy. Then she tells me that there is a fitting charge! Excuse me?! No signage, no notification, no mention beforehand. She said 'well it takes up our time'!! Erm, is that not literally the role of a shop worker...to assist the customer?! She then continued to hover around the till while we paid (between my sister and I, almost £400), and then the poor young lad had to try and charge me £15. Goes without saying it was not going to be paid. I daren't go back for the riding boots that I need, what will that be, a charge of £10 per foot?! I've left with a bitter taste in my mouth and my business will now be elsewhere.

So happy to discover this store on a recent visit from Canada (British ex pats). Probably the best tack store we've ever been in, with an incredible range of stock. We happily whiled away a couple of hours and our son was really pleased to find a pair of boots that he's been trying to find for the last couple of years. Cannot recommend highly enough!!

New Hunt has always been my go to tack shop, they have almost anything and everything you need. Sue has always looked after me but I wanted to write a review to recommend James. I had a really professional hat fitting with him today today. He took the time to explain the different safety levels and how to properly fit my hat. His knowledge of the hats (but also of everything in store) is unmatched! Thank you for a great experience and I’m sure I’ll be back to make my hat purchase!

Anything for horses, weddings and aviation is triple the price it should be …..so like any other place that sells your equine needs, some of the prices are high for the item they actually are. HOWEVER, the selection of stuff here is fantastic. Some good premium brands for country clothing,

You will not find a saddlery like this within 50 for sheer scale of stock and choice.

Recommended for your horsey hits and bobs and other country clothing items.

The very helpful staff fitted our daughter with body protector, boots and new hat etc
