Bought a soy sauce didn't check the expiring date so I guess my fault.(I bought it 2 month before expiring date) After using twice a kind of "fungus was in the liquid. I went back and kindly explained to the manager, I just wanted a replacement maybe, not just his explanation was absurd, no customer service.
I often buy in the shop, usually green plantain. No anymore from now on.
I think part was my fault for not checking the product, but a good customer service would have been a good gesture.

I get a lot of Thai products here. The shop looks small outside but really big inside, has everything you need and friendly staff too. Beware of traffic wardens outside even on Sundays.

Went on Sunday evening to buy a dozen chicken wings. The wings started smelling rancid by the next day. We had it in the fridge, and the smell was so potent that it made the entire floor smell when we opened the fridge. We threw out the wings. I’ve never experienced meat going bad so quickly before.

So glad I found this shop.! Absolutely everything you need for cooking authentic foods at home.. Makes my curries, balti, butter chicken or Thai green taste absolutely perfect. You will not regret using this shop.! Friendly staff a massive selection of good quality ingredients. 100% would recommend.

So glad to have discovered this place, just West of St. George's St. and the High St. Looking for ginger and garlic at a reasonable price for a stir fry, or even Chinese leaf? They have these, and lots of spices and bulk rice and pulses. The staff will help you find unusual items, too, like the Iranian noodles for Nigel Slater's ash reshteh recipe in the Observer ten days ago (see photo). I know I'll continue to come in here regularly.
[Edit: I just found they also carry another hard-to-find ingredient for a recipe I've had moo make with a substitute in the past: Aleppo/pul biber pepper. Great to have found it in a convenient spot.]
