Great selection of spices and Asian foods. The frozen fish and seafood is particularly good because it’s way tastier than the stuff you get in supermarkets, and pretty cheap too.
If you want something a bit different from standard supermarket stuff at a good price, then this is the place to go in Folkestone.

Great little shop for all your herbs, spices and sauces for Asian cooking. They have a good selection of rices, noodles and fresh ingredients too. It's packed full of pretty much every specialist ingredient you might need and won't find in the supermarket.

Always friendly, great selection of Asian foods, spices, veg, etc. Wish they stocked a few more Japanese items. Used to have sashimi togarashi, but don't sell it anymore.

Everest is a small store run by members of Cheriton's Nepalese community but selling foods from all over the Orient, South East Asia and the Indian subcontinent. You can get almost anything there, and they're particularly good for fresh vegetables that you won't find in the usual supermarkets, though some fresh stuff sells out very quickly. Friendly and helpful staff complete the picture of a great place to shop for Asian specialities.

Awesome place. Have started making proper curries at home and trying to get all the spices has been a mare. This place is a treasure trove so if you do go in just have a wonder first. I managed to get hold of Kashmir Chillies, Kashmire Chilli powder and proper Asian Bay leaves (you can tell be the lines in the leaf). Will visit again when I have a bit more time as I still have things on my list. And yes good reasonable prices.
