First visit for 4 years, it's grown bigger,a great shop full of authentic food stuff from other countries. A must to visit if you like to cook delicious Curries, Chinese or Japanese cuisine and others. Also plenty of fresh fruit and veg. Bought large bags of supplies to take back to Somerset,to keep us going.

I noticed many others here observing the lady's behaviour as the cashier. She is clearly hostile to certain ethnicities as was noticed by others, too. She needs training to realise that we are living in England, where people have diverse views that may differ drastically from hers.

Great food shop for Afro Caribbean, Asian, Chinese, Indian, Middle Eastern, Mediterranean, Mexican, Oriental cuisines.
The store is well maintained, clean and good hygiene.
The meat counter is well prepared & presented. I’ve been very pleased with the quality of the meats and great prices.
Great selection of fruit & vegetables, spices, breads, dry goods, tinned products, frozen, food cupboards ingredients.
Great prices throughout the store.

Bought a watermelon from them, their scale wasn't working and said is over 20kg and charged me for 21kg. 25 Pounds
Checked at home and apparently their scale is up to 15kg not 20. Watermelon was 16.6 kg

I recently purchased mangoes from Taj Groceries for £1.99, and unfortunately, they were rotten. The store has a strict policy of not accepting returns without a receipt, which was frustrating. I recommend avoiding this place if possible, and if you do shop there, make sure to check your items carefully before buying.

Nice shop a huge variety of products, shame in the same time many prices is missing I love to go and find a variety of spice and nice vegetables and fruits. 4 starts only because to too many products the price is missing.

Accused of thievery after putting items down in front of a worker due to a long line and minimal cashiers and they kept a card I lost in the store. They are rude and don't answer their phone. They are too expensive and not worth it. Better service, quality and prices elsewhere.

Been to taj recently and the store was packed with fresh goodies and so many choices..we been served by sabeena at the till..such a polite and a friendly service,was so helpful at the till always smiling.
We will be back soon..staff like these are a key to the business for sure.
