Dreadful experience. Ordered slippers on 24th November and paid in full plus delivery. On 30th November I was informed that there were delays caused entirely by Royal Mail. I eventually received the slippers on 13th December. I was so relieved to get them that I put them into immediate use that evening and the following morning, but only in my bedroom. The following day I noticed that the fur trim on one of the slippers was uneven, revealing the join onto the upper of the slipper. I emailed - nothing. I phoned multiple times - a recorded messsge saying that the number was not in service. I thought, perhaps, they were very busy due to Christmas so left it until 6th January before trying to contact them again, but still nothing. Incidentally, I filled in the returns form which was accepted and was told that a returns label would be generated. It wasn't. Because I was honest, I wanted to explain that I had worn the slippers before noticing the fault, but that as it was a fault rather than a change of mind, I expected them to replace them. I now either have to accept that they are never going to get back to me and keep the faulty slippers which I have waited, quite literally, years to buy or risk sending them back to the mailing address for a refund. Given the history so far, this is clearly not a risk worth taking. Their website is so good; I've been following them for years, but this is where it ends. I don't generally write reviews and certainly not negative ones, but people need to know to avoid this company. I did actually write a much shorter review a couple of weeks ago, hoping that it would illicit a reply. You know the answer to that one. In fact, the review isn't even showing. Say no more.

Order placed 3/12/2024 and cancelled by slipper box on 13/12/2024. Advised refund would appear on the next few days...and I'm still waiting!! No response to various e mails, no contact telephone number. Customer service non existent, totally unprofessional.

Dreadful company! I placed an order on the 8th January and was waiting for a long time, but wasn't worried because they said on my order confirmation email that they would take 5-10 days to arrive, however on19th January (11 days later) I received an email telling me my order has been cancelled! Absolutely no explanation for this whatsoever and they don't answer their phone and so far haven't responded to my emails. I received a refund today, 2 days after the cancellation email, but still no explanation! Ridiculously bad service, definitely won't shop with this company again!

I ordered some moccasins, they arrived quickly and were nice slippers. They weren’t what I really wanted however so decided to return them (unworn and in the original packaging). You have to ask permission to return the item, which is fine but a little ‘different’. It took about 3 weeks to process my refund and when it came through they’d actually only given me a partial refund. I paid £49 even but received a refund of £46.55. I can’t even be bothered to quibble as I don’t want the mentality that leads to this behaviour in my life. Not crazy bad, but slightly passive/aggressive with their refund policy.

If you want slippers of high quality offered by a independent family run business who actually care about their products you need to choose The Slipper Box. I've ordered slippers for myself, my partner and my daughter. All have come carefully packaged, and the quality is second to none. All our slippers have lasted well compared to other slippers I've had in the past where the lining rubs away after a few months. Their customer service is fantastic and I got through first time when I needed to speak to someone about delivery. Can't fault this business, we need more like them!

I was very impressed with how quickly my gorgeous slippers arrived during the busy Christmas period. The quality of my Vanuba slider slippers is absolutely unmatchable, I’ve worn them everyday since I’ve had them and they still look brand new. I will definitely be purchasing from the Slipper Box again!

Slippers arrived damaged. After nearly two weeks of back and forth with their customer service I was told that the earliest they'd be able to replace them would be April, so I've wasted two weeks (plus the initial week waiting for them in the first place) to find out that the best they're going to do is just refund me. While they were good at communicating on the whole it's not great customer service
