nice gym, although the last time i have visited the leg press was broken for around 1-2 months, it has now been fixed. good prices and badminton court, also a good selection of gym equipment.

Daughter goes here for swimming lessons and it is perfect. The main bonus is that class sizes are small when compared to main leisure centre nearby, who clearly just want money and don't really care about lessons provided. Staff are very friendly and really help the children learn.

Nice little leisure centre consisting of a multi-sports hall swimming pool and a gym. Good size pool and hall. The gym has only recently been upgraded with both a new building and equipment. The gym requires an induction before your able to use it. The only thing that lets it down are the opening times please check before going.

I frequently use the gym at ibstock leisure complex. There is a good range of equipment, MATRIX machines which are good quality. The gym is mostly quiet and often empty, which is good due to its small size. There are no free weights but that's not an issue. Membership prices are incredibly cheap, as well as day entry. One of my main reasons for this not being 5* is the opening times. They are different everywhere you look. Not only this, but in the week the gym is closed from 1pm until 3.30pm which is very annoying. However, other than this minor issue, the gym is very good and is an excellent starting point for learning how to use different machines etc.

The facilites are excellent, the staff go above and beyond and the swimming locals are like a family as everyone is so friendly. Can't rate it highly enough for feeling so welcome. The Team are so knowledgeable too and help you reach your potential whatever your ability every step of the way... and you'll have a right giggle along the way

DON'T USE!!! The recent update to the timetable has made it pretty hard to find a time when the pool isn't busy and even if you prebook it seems they actually don't care about numbers and let as many in as possible. I felt really unsafe and the pool itself was poorly controlled by 3 lifegaurds who couldn't care less about their responsibilities regarding keeping the pool safe. I was overtaken so often and got kicked and slapped by people moving past me. I couldn't do a full lap because I had to stop and move just to get out the way. Pool was extremely salty and the floors were swiped with muddy prints. The showers were SCALDING hot and were too painful to use for long. All this for 20 mins of swimming at £4.20 per person. Awful.

The website is not clear at all. Paid to get on the bus and made my way to the swimming pool after checking the open times to find a small slip of paper in the gate saying the pool is shut all half term. This was never stated on their website or anything, very angry and didsapointed. From now on I will be using Ashbys swimming pool instead, much better quality, cleaner, and better use of information sharing. Wouldn’t ever go back to Ibstock again. Waste of time and overly expensive.

First time here for granddaughters swimming gala. Very clean tidy welcoming place. Thou it was a bit warm waiting in corridor before the racing started.
