Out of all the health clubs and leisure centres I've ever visited or been a member of, this is my favourite. The members of staff are lovely, the professionals know their stuff in the field they practice and it seems to attract members which are also lovely. Not to mention the location is stunning. The facilities are high end, and apparently they're just about to have an upgrade to the whole club!! New gym, studios, everything... Very excited.

Such a friendly team of staff to meet and greet you, with a calming and inviting atmosphere of a top class venue. Membership costs are higher than average over other gym memberships, but this is a quality facility set in a rural location that is worth paying for.
With improvements and investment due to commence in the coming weeks and months throughout, I look forward to experiencing this fresh new look as I work hard to feel good.

A great place to work out in the gym, have a swim, treatments, and tennis ?. The first class staff, under the management of Katie, and the much improved Stables bar, which is a lovely place to take your laptop, have a cuppa and catch up with yourself. You can't go wrong with the Holbrook

Before signing up you should be aware that this place closes at 5pm on a Saturday and 3pm (!) on a Sunday - ridiculous! We were never informed of this when we signed up - previously I used to come here as a guest of a friend, the club used to be open until 10pm on weekends. Surely Saturday and Sunday evenings are when a good number of parent members would be able to do a little gym, swim, steam? Weekend evenings are key ‘Health club’ times everywhere else I’ve ever been a member, eg David Lloyd. When I asked why their weekend closing times had been changed and why members weren’t notified I received blank looks and was told that’s just how it is.

The spa if you can call it that. Consists of pool, sauna and steam room. Was disappointed as booked for a special birthday. Only one member of staff who’s English wasn’t great.
No food was able to be served in the cafe only crisps and cake.

Only a 4, as the whole place is in the process of being refurbished, which seems to be taking an age plus lots of things seem to be breaking down...staff are great though
