Appalling customer service experienced here today. When ordering we said my daughter had a dairy allergy and could they make scrambled egg to accommodate this. The scrambled egg came out and looked quite milky so went to query if it had milk in. Was told yes it did and I responded by saying but we asked for it to be dairy free. Without any offer of apology, the lady serving went into a confrontational and completely unnecessary lecture about how we should have specifically said 'no milk' as saying 'dairy free' wasn't specific enough. I told her that was ridiculous but she refused to back down and offer any sort of apology or offer to change the order.

I was absolutely perplexed at her atttitude. She shouldn't be working anywhere near food. I asked for our money back which she refused and went to speak to her manager about me. She just walked away and put her hand up with her back to me telling me to go away like a juvenile (despite likely being in her 50s or 60s). Another customer commented how ridiculous her attitude was.

Thankfully, the manager was excellent and offered our money back and the dish we ordered. He bought it over himself and said the staff member in question had and attitude issue. Unfortunately by that point, the damage had been done. Her attitude could have caused serious illness to my daughter - thank goodness we checked even though that shouldn't have been necessary. Would highly recommend avoiding this cafe, especially if anyone has an allergy.

Nice dining facility within Tesco. Quantity of beans in English breakfast is a bit less but overall ok.

Went here today and, due to a lack of vegan options in the cafe, we brought some food into the cafe as well as ordering from the cafe itself (the food was also brought in the tesco the cafe was in). One of the staff members, let's call her Clara came up to us and told us we could not eat the food. She kept intimidatingly staring at us from all over the cafe while we were waiting for our food. The person with dietary restrictions was therefore very hungry while refraining from eating and felt very uncomfortable. There was no signage warning us of cafe food only, so this person ate her food anyway. Clara proceeded to whisper into her managers ears until another of our company went up to confront them. Clara's attitude was horrible, she was more concerned about breaking the rules then the actual manager was, who contributed very little (possibly because he knew it was not a big deal) to the conversation. Clara made a scene and raised her voice. She turned something small and would not effect her or the cafe at all into a huge deal. They offered us a refund and so we left to go to the brand new Greg's downstairs, which did not at all mind that we brought in food from the tesco sushi place. Again, when we brought food into the morrisons cafe they did not care at all. The St Neots teco cafe is much nicer and the staff there are friendly and not intimidating or rude whatsoever.

The most incredible and friendly staff work at this place, The food is actually a much higher standard than what you would expect from a supermarket cafe, every time I go in there my food is amazing. However, there was on visit where I ordered the buttermilk chicken burger, it is usually amazing but the chicken was really tough horrible to chew. I asked for a new one but it was the same as the other one however this situation was dealt with by a very understanding, calm and patient member of staff 4*, Incredible coffee, atmosphere staff and food, loses one star due to the burger but it was taken care of thanks to the staff. INCREDIBLE JOB GUYS!

Dreadful service and before 1:00 pm ran out of children’s sandwiches !! When kids are on holiday !!! Waited for 20 minutes for our food then we were told we have to wait at least another 15 mins and apparently they hadn’t told to the staff at till at time of ordering that the service will be delayed ! And when asked for money back they charged us for tea that wasn’t consumed. Will I visit that cafe again ? You can work it out !

Unfortunately very poor. Food came out at different times, probably a good 5 minutes for the final dish. Quality of food wasn’t great. Toasted sandwich wasn’t toasted.

Terrible portions!! Terrible service! Paid £5.95 for 1 hash brown, 1 piece of toast, a feeble portion of beens and dry horrible veggie sausages. When I asked for help from the staff, to ask if they may possibly make the breakfast up to the value of £5.95 they were more than happy to tell me all the reasons why they are not allowed to do so and how I was wrong to order the way I had, when surely the staff could have tried to explain.
I've spent many years working in hospitality and would have always gone out of my way to make sure the customer was happy with the food. In the current cost of living crisis I found this absolutely shocking. I don't exactly have the biggest appitite in the world, I paid close to £6 and my hunger hasnt even slightly been curbed. I would avoid!

Great place for a coffee, lunch or a quick bite. Friendly hard working staff who do their upmost to give quality service. Only downside is that they can get really busy at weekends, but that just goes to prove how popular this place is
