Really lovely meal. There were 9 of us dining in the restaurant. Everything was hot, tasty, and delicious. We had 2 of the set menus for 5 of us, and it was just enough with some to spare.
Amenities were great. Our teens loved the pool table and dart board. Really lovely lady serving.
Was surprised that there was no one else in the restaurant, but it looked like they were very busy with the takeaway orders. Will definitely be back ?

Can't fault the food I get from Memories, although maybe a bit more expensive than what I would like.

Service is good, but 40% of orders either have something unordered or something missing.

Atmosphere seems nice but always order takeaway so can't comment on it

For takeaways, usually quite quick (when ordering at opening time it's usually around 45 minutes, but later it's closer to 30)

Overall, pretty good if you're looking for local Chinese food

Very grim, I've had 3 takeaways from here since I moved into the area and I am not impressed by any of them, I was hoping the first couple of times were just bad luck but unfortunately. I'm gutted because they are local and I love Chinese food. I will not be ordering again.

Left off an item with a order I collected and they said they will bring out. One hour later I received my very cold chips that was missing from the order. I don't think I would use them again soon

Just had takeaway for my birthday treat today. New to area so decided to try out Memories. Have to say big mistake. Food flavour was ok but not great. Portions size were tiny. The lemon chicken was tried out and curled up, sweet n sour chicken were half size we get everywhere else and only get tiny pot of sauce, deep fried chilli beef wasn’t crispy at all and not much flavour, king po king prawns - lady on phone didn’t know what came with them veg wise, so as not to get veg I don’t like had to order with nothing- surely she could have asked someone. Portion of seaweed was tiny and for cost way overpriced. Tofu was dry and shrivelled appeared to have been heated up, chips were dry and overcooked/re heated as I think the lemon chicken was, the egg in the egg fried rice was basically non existent and was basically plain boiled rice so I could have saved myself the extra cost and had plain rice but as we had mushroom rice without the egg they could of but that egg in our egg fried rice. £53 order and they don’t even give you a bag of prawn crackers - I didn’t order prawn crackers as every Chinese we have ever been to in the last 40 years always give a free bag witb that size order. To finalise my disappointment we always have the same meal and are normally all full and have left overs. For first time ever we had no left overs at all. We always order more than we need to a degree so we have a good selection.
We will never go back and certainly will not recommend. If no other Chinese is open and I want one I’ll go without

Food tasted like it had been reheated many times. Extremely dry ribs, chicken, and very small quantities of duck. Watery thai green curry. Satay chicken very unenjoyable especially when it's my favourite dish. Salt and pepper chilli chicken dry and chewy.. again reheated no doubt. Health and safety would have a field day. We live less than a mile away and all food except rice and pancake roll had to be again.. reheated.

When I googled it, it said it was just a takeaway. Someone mentioned you could eat in so I decided to book. Very glad I did. I had visions of a takeaway counter with an area of a few tables and carpet style wallpaper. How wrong I was, this place is really really nice, modern decor, nice bar area, clean and stylish. Staff very friendly, food excellent and the price, well that is the hidden gem, it’s the same price as the takeaway! Why wouldn’t you eat in!
Will definitely be going back.
Note to owners- tell people you have a great restaurant, bar, great food, great prices and a big car park. Update your google. Well done and thanks.

First and last time unfortunately. Food was dry, bland, flavourless, and in my opinion overpriced. I rarely leave reviews but felt compelled to on this occasion as the food was genuinely pretty nasty. There are plenty of better Chinese takeaways around. We certainly won't be returning.
