The Pickled Postie is a lovely, welcoming cafe serving a wide selection of breakfast and lunch dishes with daily specials. We're both vegetarian and there are always options for us. The food is great, well priced and the service is very friendly.

First time trying this place..
Lovely and friendly staff..
Very busy...
We ordered two belly buster hot sandwiches...
Bacon, sausage, egg and a potato rostie...
Not the best.... Just bland... No real flavour to the sausages... Or anything...
My egg was over done...
The potato rostie wasn't crispy..
£6 each was expensive for the quality and size that we got.
It was just a bit dissapoining as all the other food looked great like the sausage rolls and fresh hot quiches ect...

Awesome! What a lovely little gem of a place. Food & coffee was excellent & good value. Such a warm welcome, felt like being a guest in a friends home.

Went for a spot of lunch, really good service , things fairly priced. Met and had a chat with New owner Anna after being a employee for years. Very nice lady with some wonderful ideas. A must visit if you are in the area.

Helpful staff manning the Post Office. Very nice deli offer, particularly the fresh mini quiches. Some very enticing fresh cakes too. Decent variety of fresh and ambient goods in the store with an accent on local produce. A good experience.

Visited a number of times to eat in recently and the food is consistently very good. The staff are all very friendly, smiling and welcoming. The place is very clean and decorated well. Highly recommend.

We came in for breakfast, before I set off back to London this morning.
Without doubt, one of the best Full English Breakfasts that I have ever experienced (a vegetarian option was available if desired). The Eggs Benedict and a Bacon Buttty were also greatly appreciated. Excellent value and the service was fun, friendly and welcoming.
My mother lives in Cawood, so I have plenty of excuse to return again.
