I called in to post a parcel as I was visiting Cannon Hall. Proper old school post office. Lovely friendly lady running it, and I couldn't resist buying some sweets from the grand array of jars of sweets. Will use again if in the area. Lovely little place.

A proper old fashioned sweet shop with shelves of jars of multi coloured, multi flavoured deliciousness & friendly post office. Traditional sweet shop window display that is changed regularly with obvious love & care. I use it as a "nudge" diary to the next day of celebration in English village life. You cannot buy tradition, but we are all custodians. These folk are definitely doing their bit in looking after a village hub. Thank you.

Grandchildren didn't know how to buy sweets from a jar, they found it a very informative adventure AND enjoyed their chosen selection, big plus is the dog also enjoyed the free biscuit and water bowl, excellent dog clips outside ?.

It's like walking back in time, nostalgic and so friendly. I love going in there. The owners are very much part of the community and have rescued what was once a very crabby dreary place into some thing to be proud of.
