We purchased a number of "bullet cams" for a cycle delivery company. The cameras are pretty low quality and are a model that have been around for over 5 years. Changes in light levels seem to flummox them and a high proportion of footage is unusable as a result. The supplied mounts are wobbly and tend to droop so the camera ends up pointing at the ground rather than the road.

One of the cameras supplied had an obvious issue where it just would not focus. Chilli Tech were contacted about this separately by two people from our organisation, and were sent screen shots and video footage. We finally received a replacement after several more weeks. See below for Chilli Tech's response: to their credit they did finally sort this out but it was a frustrating experience.

Received my helmet light and handle bar light today, I am honestly 110% happy with the product feels and looks a very high standard. Customer service is 110% as I was unsure on what I was best off having for the trails they pointed me in the right direction. 5 stars from me

Excellent quality and amazing customer service!

I purchased a 3 LED light and CREE capsule helmet light, Amazing lights at a bargain price.

The lights produce an amazing amount of light with plenty of battery life, the remote makes switching between settings a breeze as you switch between trails/road sections. On max setting it’s like riding in daylight. Battery life is spot on, I’m yet to get past the amber battery life indicator even on 4 hour long night rides.

The build quality is incredible and even through the great British winter the lights haven’t missed a beat. Ridden through lake sized puddles and in heavy rain and the lights keep going!

In addition the customer service has been incredible, through my own clumsiness I managed to break the charging cable for the light, within a matter of hours (at the weekend!) a new cable was in its way to me.

Would recommend to anyone looking for a decent set of lights at an amazing price, why pay 3-4 times the price when you can buy from Chilli!

This is a single bloke running the show so I think he does get a bit tied up sometimes, mostly when royal mail decide to go on strike and delays in product imports.

Anyway, the lights are spot on for the money and I've never had trouble keeping in touch with Chilli, I had a faulty cable on a light and he sent a replacement immediately.

The service is there and the product is great so I'm a five star reviewer!

I bought a bullet camera from Chilli Technology just before Christmas which I have been delighted with. I wanted a camera that sits on the handlebars rather than my helmet and the good practical bracket provides fits the bill perfectly. The camera itself provides excellent value at just £33 and offers a very reasonable quality given the price paid. I have already captured a few incidents where the coverage would have provided excellent evidence had I been minded to take it any further. A couple of weeks back I thought wrongly that the camera had developed a fault. I therefore returned it to the company and Paul (the owner) very quickly identified my mistake and returned it to me with a video link to show what I had done wrong. I was not charged for my error despite me incurring the company unnecessary cost. This is an excellent small company with a first class customer service ethos and with whom I would be delighted to order further innovative products.

I have ordered 2 bullet cameras and one head torch from Paul and his after sales support was epic. Royal mail failed to deliver one camera and sent it back, Paul sent it out next day for me at no extra cost. As I happened to mention that my wife is NHS worker and I'm a fireman he sent us a UV phone clean free as a thank you for having to continue working through the lockdown. The cameras and head torch are awesome and so is the cleaner, I can't thank Paul enough for all his help and the products are very well priced with good quality. Great company and Paul is a very nice guy. Totally recommend his company and will definitely buy again.

Purchased a CREE 960 back in December 20, the light is fantastic with the various function options, but even better than that was the after sales service. The lamp units buttons became 'stuck in' around February 21 it became inoperable, but when I contacted Paul at Chilli-tech a replacement was sent out immediately without any quibble and was received just a few days later. There was no excuses to blame covid for any delays. It just happened.
The reason this feedback has taken so long, I embarrassingly will use covid as I close family member contracted it shortly after receiving the replacement lamp unit.
Great product, great service, hence 5 stars.
Definitely recommend and would buy more equipment from Chilli-tech. ?
