Our second visit to this superb showroom just off the Greenhills roundabout in Kingsteignton, we didn't realise how huge the store was... Very impressive.
Car parking is free and with ample spaces, Covid controls were clearly shown in the entrance along with Sale signage.
The range of sofas, chairs, beds and other furniture was huge. We were greeted by a very polite ( not pushy } saleswoman offering discount vouchers and was left alone to browse after being offered coffee!
Lead time on new sofas was about 26 weeks at the time of our visit! Wow.
Excellent displays, quality furniture, well worth a visit.

Purchased a Sleepeeze Gel, King Size Mattress on 14.10.23 from the Kingsteignton Store.

My wife and I went in store a few days previous to check out what they had.

Jo dealt with us from the outset. She was brilliant with her advice and guidance and was knowledgeable about the products we were looking at. She was never once pushy, she was friendly and patient.

Returning to the store a few days later to decide on one out of two mattresses, Jo spotted the Graphite Memory Foam mattress we were trying was maybe not going to be suitable long term for my wife and her back issues that she has. The dip of the mattress was too deep and soft which may have caused my wife discomfort long term. Jo's advice on the one we picked was paramount to our decision.

We highly recommend Fairway Furniture. It's packed with quality furnishings and the staff are super friendly. Plus, it is good to support local and Fairway Furniture is a family owned and run business and knocks spots off some of the nation wide big name stores that we've dealt with in the past.

It is now 4 months in to sleeping on our new mattress. It is supremely comfortable. One thing we have noticed recently is the mattress protection sheet that we purchased with the mattress really affects the overall sleeping experience. The sheet is crinkly noisy when rolling over and it weirdly affects the comfort of the mattress. We have since removed it and noticed a huge improvement in the comfort. The mattress is as it was when we tested it.

Large showroom containing furniture for every room of a house. Staff are friendly and helpful and give customers time to look around the store without pushy sales pitches.
I was even allowed to borrow a drawer to determine if it was a colour match with other furniture in my home which I thought was an exceptional level of customer service.

Moving into my first home and came to Fairway on 27th of Jan with my Nana - the lady who helped us was completely amazing and made the whole process so easy, it felt so familiar and everyone was so kind. We ended up coming away with a bed, mattress and sofa (Nana even bought a sofa) while we were there. I needed things fast and they managed to fix it all and everyone was so professional yet personable. Would not go anywhere else, the human touch made a world of difference and everything stressless and easy.

AVOID AVOID AVOID

Bought a wardrobe back in april 2023. Noticed that one of teh screws would not take to the base the other day when opening and, upon closer inspection, noticed that there was a huge crack across where the screw should go - hence why the screw would not take. I had to dismantle straight away as it lokmed very unsafe and i have yuong children in the house. I dismantled and phoned the store immediately - the rather abrupt customer service person stated that i must send in pictures. I sent in all tbe pictures i could - no respinse. I phoned the store an hour os so later as i had not heard anything. She told me she had received the pictures abut nothing could be done until Monday and i would received a phone call.

On monday i received an email saying that i hads to pay a £25 call out fee so they could 'assess' the wardrobe. I reluctantly agreed as i didn't really have much choice.

The operatives cam and assessed, as they left they told me the wardrobe had been put together correctly and it had not been moved as they could clearly see the markings on the floor where the wardrobe had been.

I then received a phone call a few days later saying that it wa snot a manufacturing the fault, the operatives have apprantly said i have been dragging the wardrobe and that i would need to pay for new parts!!

I am absoultely gobsmacked. Feel like I have been had! Never buy anything from fairway furniture

This store never disappoints. After trudging around 20 stores looking for a suitable mattress we landed in fairways only to discover they actually do sell stand alone mattress. Having shopped in the store many times before we wrongly presumed they only sold bed sets. We met Chris who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and over 20 years experience in bed sales. And let me tell you that makes such a difference in the way you view your requirements and actually start shopping for a mattress that addresses your needs. No pressure selling to buy on the day. We settled on two manufacturers. A middle priced firm mattress and a slightly higher priced firm mattress from Harrison spinks exclusively made for fairways. Delivery was within timescales quoted a call and a email from.the store to advise it's manufacturing is on track mid / end of Nov. On 16th Nov it was delivered to my room of choice and I paid extra for the disposal of my old mattress. Which for us was a godsend. Prompt arrival within the 90 mins advise by the warehouse store. Last night was the best nights sleep I've had in years. The mattress is deep supportive in all the right areas. My bach no longer aches and I'm so delighted to know that our previous mattress was a considerable factor in making my posture worse. I would not hesitate to recommend this store and service. Fantastic and often rare to find a first class service all round. This will now be my first store to visit rather than my last.
