Great to see Trago evolving. The cafe in the entrance is a brilliant idea. It’s really well hosted by Claire and Leanne, who went above and beyond to be helpful and hospitable. Would recommend some better quality coffee beans, but well done overall. Trago is on the up!

Some parts leave a lot to be desired but I didn’t find it as bad as many others have. There are a lot of food stalls and the shops have virtually everything you could want, and the garden section is amazing. Look out for peacocks that roam around! The train ride was probably the highlight of the visit, and the ride took about 20-25 minutes. There’s a variety of scenery to be seen on the train. The model trains were good, but one or two of the interactive displays there didn’t work. The fun park didn’t have much operating besides the go karts and boats, but even without the fun park there was enough to be done. It seemed that as the day went on it became more of a ghost town, but Trago has that “old feel” to it and it can still be quite charming.

Needs some TLC. But the prices are good. We often go when we run out of household goods etc. They do have pretty much anything you need there. Which is great to get it all out of the way in one shop.

I was sad to go on the train the other day with my kids for a treat. Children under 4 used to be free but now they're not. So it was £3 for adults and £2 per child. We are a family of 5 so we won't be doing that again in a hurry... unfortunately.

The farm isn't much of one anymore. It's such a shame as there's alot of potential there, most of the staff though as quite chatty and helpful though.

They've recently updated the toilets (which really needed doing!!) and entrance halls so that's really helped in presentation and pleasant toileting with the kiddos

I promised my art loving daughter a trip to Trago Mills knowing that they usually stock a good deal of art supplies.

Wow, what a huge store!
We usually frequent the Liskeard store, but Newton Abbot seemed like a giant compared.

The art supplies did not disappoint, they had plenty of choice and various canvases that she got me to carry.
I bought a homebrew beer making book, which I have still yet to read.
A lovely afternoon, the weather helped as it was very pleasant and seeing a peacock with it's feathers on full display finished the afternoon with a smile ?

I try and leave positive reviews but alas this isn't one of them.

Interesting store, but the signage needs a lot of work. Exits not marked, only one set of in-store loos from what I could see which weren't marked out.

(Surely you want your customers to be comfortable when they shop?)

On the way out unfortunately got caught in the queue for the petrol station which has no pay at the pump so you have to queue to pay.

Go up
