Fantastic location for a coop store, right in the centre of town. There is disabled parking and parent & child available at the front of the store.

The store is very large. When we arrive there was absolutely no trollies available so we had to use baskets. The food selection is nice and they have a wide range of food available. However the cost is a little more than other stores. Whilst walking around the store there is absolutely no staff available to help.

At the check out there are self scans and tills. Even though there are a few tills available only 1 on them had a member of staff active and even when the queue got large no one else came to help. I really believe the store would benefit for having some extra staff available.

Never usually review shops but after yet more poor customer service I thought I would leave a review. I had to use one of the self service check outs and needed to press the help button as an item had not registered. The store assistant came over, didn’t look at me, didn’t speak to me, sorted the issue quickly enough but then left, again, nothing from them. Just one of a long line of similar incidents, their customer service at this store is shocking, barely a smile and they don’t talk.

Very large range of stock, including electrical items. Friendly staff, well laid out with wide aisles, suitable for wheelchair users. Free parking on site, also easily accessible disabled parking. Very close to bus station, giving great local access. Open 6 am to 9pm Monday to Saturday , and 7am to 9pm Sundays.

Good supermarket with a good variety of products. You can usually always find what you are looking for. The Co-op branded goods are of good quality and decent price, plus if you have a member card you earn back money on all the Co-op branded items to spend on future shops and you get weekly vouchers with special deals on then. There is never a long wait at the checkouts whenever I have been and the staff are friendly, polite and efficient. The ready made foods are good for a quick grab and go lunch, I especially like the sandwiches or pasta pots and turning them into a meal deal where you can get a drink and snack (crisps, chocolate, or selection of fruit and cakes) for only £3.00, which is a great saving.

Excellent staff members. Always working above and beyond what should be expected of them, especially after the impact covid has had. I had a very positive experience with Ste when I had made a mistake with my collection times.

Nice Co-op store, good access with ample carparks adjacent to the store.
Well stocked in all departments, with a nice safe virus environment.
Personally I like Co-op stores, overall reasonably priced with good and different range of products.

Nice store, but awful service—Unhelpful ! I had an issue with the self service checkout and no one came to help me I was stood there like a fool waiting looking like an idiot no one came to help in the end I said sod it and left without my items! Won’t go back. Felt humiliated.
