We used D&D for our entire home renovation and they were excellent throughout the whole process. New kitchen, new bathrooms, knocking down walls, building new ones, roof repairs, windows, plastering, carpeting - they were able to do everything to the standard we wanted and the entire team were always pleasant and professional. Even when unexpected issues arose, as they inevitably do on a long project, they worked positively & reasonably to find solutions we could afford, and went above & beyond several times to ensure we were happy. Always reachable by phone and always trustworthy. Extremely happy with the service, the results and definitely recommend them.

Three months afterwards and with no response from the business owner for a full refund (he blocked my wifes messages on text) I have to write this review. My wife paid to have panels installed over tiles that weren't completely waterproof, a new floor, shower tray, shower system and an extractor fan installed…
None of the panels were cut to the correct size with half inch gaps at the top & bottom. The joint profiles are bent and still had the plastic covering on them with no silicone to stop water getting behind the panels, in loose and with no silicone. The silicone around the shower tray had gaps where there was none, it looked like a two year old had done it and started to discolor after a month (clearly not bathroom silicone). After two months we noticed a damp patch coming through the wall on the outside and had to have all the silicone removed and sealed again.
The shower head is broken from the day of installation. The extractor fan doesn’t fit flush and is loose. The pipework is atrocious, we had nice and neat copper piping and it was replaced with plastic and a horrible ply board stuck to the wall. When installing the waste pipe they drilled through the lower floor ceiling and did a horrible job at patching it up and also said that they didn’t do it, “it must have been someone else”.
There are cuts and scratches on the panels from the installation, they even scratched the door opposite the shower room with the panels when installing them... The list goes on and so does our work at trying to put it right. We had a quote from another company to put it all right, they wanted to rip it all out as that’s the only way they could have fixed it and it would have cost twice as much as what we had already paid D&D which we can’t afford.

Darren, Debbie and their team recently renovated our home, creating an open plan living space perfectly suited to modern living with young kids. The quality of the work was exceptional, the team very friendly and considerate, with Darren always accomodating to slight tweaks or add-ons.

The work involved included fitting a new kitchen, laying underfloor heating, vinyl flooring and carpet, cutting out a new window and decorating.

We will certainly be using them again for future projects and would recommend anyone looking for reliable tradesman to consider them as well.
