Absolutely love the variety of clothes in stock with great prices. The owner has great knowledge of her products and always changing the stock to suit the time of year. She’s honest and reliable, always going out of her way to help customers. Would strongly recommend a trip to the Closet for your new wardrobe

Bought a jumper in this shop on Saturday, expensive £54, when I tried it on it wasn't right for me. I took it back to the shop on Monday, they refused to refund me saying they did not give money back only exchange or credit note valid for 6 months. The woman pointed to a notice on the shelf. Oh she said it's covered up, pictures were in front of it obscuring it from sight. I explained I did not live in the area I had been staying with my 98 year old mother who had been unwell. The woman still refused to refund despite hidden notice. If this is their policy the sign should be placed by the till and the customer clearly told before purchase. I feel tricked and abused it's a disgusting way to treat customers and I warn all potential customers to be very wary. I will never shop there again.

Unfortunately I was made to feel terrible today when returning a dress which I purchased the day before my holiday. I was unaware of the 14 day return policy. I was then told in front of another customer that it ‘smelled of washing powder’ I would NEVER wear and return an item. I was made to feel like a guilty criminal. I actually left the shop feeling pretty upset. I did receive a credit note but I will not be returning. It’s not about the money, I was returning an item that did not fit in good faith.

My girlfriend loves it when I take a surprise trip to the Closet to get her a surprise. The staff are lovely and welcoming, as well as always making the best suggestions for her style. Would recommend the closet for those guys who need a bit of help buying gifts

Every time I walk past this shop, I just have to pop in. There are really lovely pieces and great finds here. The owner is very friendly and helpful and she has an excellent eye for design. I love watching the live videos, they're really fun. A great little boutique.
