What a beautiful place! We stayed for a week, 4 adults and 5 children and we wish we could have stayed for longer. The house is a perfect set up for two families with the bedrooms being on different floors, and there's plenty of room so that we didn't feel on top of each other. The house itself is lovely, but the surroundings are just stunning! We sat outside most nights with a fire, and one night we were treated to some shooting stars as well as the northern lights, a very special night. The house is on the site of a farm, the 5 dogs came to visit every day much to the delight of the kids and they would have happily played fetch all day if we didn't have other places to visit. There are also horses on the farm which were lovely to see! We had a very special time at Sìthean and we would love to return one day!

Wow, what a beautiful place! We love everything about it. Really spacious but cosy and quirky, the owners have thought of everything we could possibly need. The scenery is stunning. A really peaceful and tranquil place, with lovely walks and a half hour drive to Oban and ferries to the islands. The sauna is fun, and even when it's pouring down, there's a lovely sheltered porch where you can sit and watch the birds. My favourite place ever πŸ₯°

Warm and cosy house with good amenities. Fantastic hosts that were helpful and considerate during our stay - the weather looked fantastic but wasn't very good for driving (bring a 4x4 if you have one). Central to so many great walks and sights to see and a fantastic view of the surrounding countryside. The kids loved meeting the horses and dogs too. Can't recommend this place enough.

Perfectly designed accommodation in spectacular settings. The owners have gone to great effort to ensure every comfort is provided for. Our family enjoyed a fantastic week here. We loved the marked trail across the land, the well proportioned space and the luxury of your own sauna. The owners helped with all our enquiries, this place is highly recommended.

Just home from Sithean today. This is the 2nd time we've been. I love it because it's off the beaten track, so if peace and solitude is what you're after then this the place for you.
The open plan kitchen, dining area and lounge along with the high ceilings make it feel very spacious.
The multi fuel stove is a focal point; we watched that rather than the TV.

Thoroughly enjoyed staying at Sithean.
Sitting out on its own, it offers all the comforts of home with pure peace, quietness and lovely walks.
Close enough to Oban for a day out. Plenty of Castles and outdoor activities to visit and try out. Fabulous.

Accommodation excellent. Location, ideal for exploring the west coast. Point to note, if you are hiring car, chose a vehicle with a high clearance, as the road conditions will damage the bumper underside.
