I’ve been coming to TrueFoods for years and am delighted to have seen it grow. It is really unique and the variety of organic produce is, in my opinion, unsurpassed.
I’ve shopped for organic in a few parts of Europe and the multiple parts of USA and this store beats them all that I’ve found for produce and friendly, helpful staff and volunteers.

Excellent range of products, fresh vegetables and artisan breads. Friendly service, mostly volunteers. A true cooperative!

Interestingly, the prices here are often below the High Street supermarket prices. Definitely worth getting to know!

Saturday mornings, they now have some awesome pastries and breads from Wild Frog Bakery. Gotta get 'em quick, though, before they're all gone 😃

Very convenient and friendly place to get good quality food without all the unnecessary packaging. Just take your old containers (weigh them empty and write the weight on the side if you can). Then go and fill up and pay by the weight you want. Good bread and other bits too.

Stopped in yesterday for the first time. Needed refills of non bio laundry soap and dishwasher tabs. Ended up with lots of goodies!! Especially loved buying from the bulk area with supplied paper bags. I'll bring my own containers next time. Some lovely local apples, both eaten now. And the man at the register reminded me about getting bread. I chose the sourdough sliced and it is amazingly good!! It went immediately into the freezer as it's a giant loaf that will last us a good month of daily eating. Today it toasted up crisp on the edges and moist in the middle. This is better than pizza crust! Best bread ever and we'll be back!! Thank you to all who support this store.

This was my first time there and I'm absolutely smitten. There's a great range of food as well as household products available. There are bins of serve yourself nuts and dried fruit etc., tinned goods, packet goods such as pasta and even a facility to re-fill your washing liquid and fabric conditioner bottles. The range of fresh fruit and vegetables looks great and the bakery items include sourdough bread. The only minor negative is the limited parking though I was lucky enough to find a space right outside. You might have to park a bit further away sometimes but that's not a great problem. Oh, yes, and I love the fact that the Co-op is owned by members and run by volunteers. The man who served me was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. A brilliant shop and long may it continue.

It’s such a delight to have this shop near me where I can buy so many lovely nuts, grains, dried fruit and legumes in as little or big quantities as I need without redundant packaging. I bought almonds the other day which were the freshest and sweetest I had in a very long time.

My first ever visit to the shop yesterday and I LOVE it! From now on, it’s where I will shop. The sheer variety of not only produce, but of organic produce was a sight to behold! It’s how shopping used to be before the huge supermarket chains took over. No more supermarkets for me! Absolutely LOVE it 😍
