Do yourself a favour and avoid at all cost this store or make sure you check your purchases on the spot as they are selling used items, with slimy make up and smell of cigarettes and advertising as new ones . When asked to be replaced they will send you to other store and so. The woman from there she's useless and rushing and not provide help . Outrageous

The fans are so overpriced! Why do store charge so much for a basic fan . I got a love 12 inch fan of Amazon for £20 .

I had to return a phone today because there had been a problem with the order collected from a different branch. The staff member L. was very apologetic and reassured me it would be sorted. The manager A. worked to find my order from the card transaction at the other store and replaced the order. The staff members managed to turn a really negative experience into a positive one thanks to their professional customer service. Well done!

I have been quite pleasantly surprised - I went in with a faulty phone I'd bought at a different store where I'd lost the receipt. They looked up the receipt from my card number and exchanged it without any quibbles. Convenient as well being able to reserve online and see the reviews.

The store itself looks quite run down as many Argos stores do, but hardly a deal breaker.

Service was quick, friendly and efficient! The staff who approached me were helpful and knowledgeable (I mentioned a particular product and they knew exactly where it was in the catalogue!)
I'm also very happy with the product I purchased (a fitted sheet for £7.99 - the cheapest I could find around) and the staff got it to me within 2 mins of me placing the order. Top job, Argos!

Shocking service paid to have washing machine collected and new one delivered in the morning. To find out we have wait another week because hot point don't deliver in this area on a Thursday

Bought a mobile phone for my daughter. After collecting the phone and going through it’s features etc we decided this wasn’t the type of phone we wanted for her. We did not put the SIM card in , all we did was switch the phone on and browse through. Collected the phone the Monday tried to take it back the Saturday. Was told because I had broken the seal hence cannot return the phone back . Obviously you would need to open the item to view it!! Spoke to the manager Vikki and her colleague who were of no help. From the beginning of the conversation I was convinced they would not have provided any sort of customer service whatsoever. Sadly the Abingdon branch is closed but I won’t be going back to Didcot !! I was told I could try to sell it myself! The cheek !! Stuck with a useless phone !!!
