Lovely shop to get lost in, and much larger than the frontage would make you think. Worth a look and rummage through many cabinets and tables. Ensure that you check opening hours as not open every day

I too was in the shop regarding the Rupert piece. It seems to me that if you can't sell your wares for a week then there is no point in going into your shop. You should be encouraging day trippers to the high street. It is a shame as you have a nice big shop.

Today I was excited to find a 1970s vinyl Rupert bear in the window of this shop. My husband collects Rupert alia so I walked in. Lovely large shop with so many gorgeous antiques for sale. I walked up to the till area and apologised for interrupting the obvious tea break of the person there. I asked to buy the Rupert in the window and was told I couldn't because it was part of the window display in honour of next Sundays street market So I could not have it until then. I explained I was just visiting bungay for the day but was told I could not take it away. Frankly the window was very cluttered anyway so removing Rupert or replacing him with some thing else would have made no difference. Sadly I will now search the Internet. Not my fault high streets closing down. Incidentally the price tag on Rupert referred to him as SOOTY.

Lovely large antique centre in Bungay
Very easy to just walk past as looks quite dark and door is set in a bit
But definitely worth a look
So much stock
And it's like the tardis inside
For a proper look round allow at least 30 mins - as on the way back you will spot different things

We always have a walk around as interesting things and you are left alone to just wonder. Bought some good quality tools last time which I am sure will outlast me.
