The old guy short changes, over charges and after today makes the rules up as he goes along. He made my husband go to the PO counter with an oversize parcel and he then went on to serve someone with a bigger parcel. He also leaves the Post Office safe open on view with acces by anyone. We have witnessed this. The man is a liability, if there is police response here you could lose it and it will affect your insurance too. The man needs sacking or retirement.

I work in Scotland (live in Bungay) on rotation on an oil and gas platform where I hosted a very successful MacMillan coffee morning.
The Bungay Shopper was carrying out post office duties as the post office desk was closed and they would not accept Scottish legal tender notes saying they could be fake!!!
Why would anyone try to pay in fake notes to a charity?!! If it was a low life with fake notes I’m fairly certain they wouldn’t be giving them to charity.
They could’ve at least had some kind of verification tools/process to save this embarrassment!

Old man staff member who I assume was someone in charge overcharged me.. then thought he had the right to call me stupid. These people who run the shop need to stop being money grabbers and put customers first..
Also when they reduce stock that's out of date.. I'd check the date before purchasing.. alot of the time it's 2 weeks out of date.. aspecially their bacon or sandwiches ?.. someone needs to call the health inspectors.. or get a secret shopper in.
I will not be returning.. sad as it would be my local but im going to the premier a few shops down from now on.

The owner of this shop is such a lovely courteous man, he will go out of his way to order anything he can for you, if it is out of stock. Great selection for a store of it's size. Definitely recommend...
