Don't go early morning the abrasive, rude woman with grey spiky hair and glasses works the morning shift, if you want your day spoilt, she'll do it for you every time. I've been avoiding her for several years but got caught out this morning. How the other staff work with her is beyond me. Sainsburys in the mornings, if you want to keep your sanity. She also overcharged me by £4 !!

Great little shop however their free from section is a little limited and can be a bit pricey. Always a great selection of reduced bits and a wide range of various foods and products, bakery bits, cold meats, cheese, veggies, small bunches of flowers, magazines etc. The staff are always very friendly and keen to help. It's a tad cramped if you're going in with a pushchair and ther is no self service and queues can get a little long sometimes due to busy staff

This shop is very poor when it comes to keep to the regulations and guidelines. They have put up poster asking the customers to stick to the rules but have no one at hand to maintain them in store. For example they ask customers to queue up and wait for someone to leave before entering. I witnessed 8 people go in store earlier today (5/11/2020) before a single person left the store. I have seen staff not wearing protective measures like masks which is now mandatory. And I've seen the staff standing around having little chats instead of doing their jobs and serving people

Just had a delivery from Uber, with 8 items missing. Driver said he was only given 1 item. I called Co-Op and they couldn't help at all! Not to even confirm the order was put together and rung through their till! How utterly ridiculous! I have to do it all via Uber! Shan't use Uber or the Co-Op in Old Town again.

Terrible shop staff either don’t communicate or when the do they are rude and short with you. Two older lady’s on till couldn’t operate it properly causing a long wait in the line and couldn’t even smile back once I got there. Manager helped fix, but didn’t stay to clear the line sooner.

Quality local shop - majority of items stocked. Also have some decent bargains and staff are very nice! Members card as well to earn money off and help local causes.
