Good shop BUT it isn't an 'Ultimate Outdoors' shop as Google Maps states. For a few years now, its name is 'Go Outdoors'. Both may be own by Blacks (not 100% sure) but the name of the store is: Go Outdoors.

Great shop, seems to have most items readily available for all your outdoors adventures. Cheap £5 member fee for a year which gives you a huge discount off of items. Staff super helpful and went out of their way to search for items that weren’t originally on the shelf - thanks!

Very disappointed with their service. I ordered a cool box for £89. They confirmed the order and then sent no email updates for 5 days, whilst I waited for the delivery to finally arrive. Whilst waiting for the deliver they dropped the price by £10. I contacted them to request a £10 refund as the price was reduced before I received the item. Finally they replied to me saying I would need to return the item and order it again if I wanted it at the lower price! That’s just crazy. I will not be ordering with this company again. Terrible communication and attitude in their emails. They won’t even price match their own price, even though their website says they do price match plus 10%. And very slow delivery.

They have an extensive selection of every outdoor item that you could desire. The prices are unbeatable and the staff (especially Sean) are knowledgeable and helpful.

I ordered a rucksack for next day delivery. Paid the extra delivery charge. Rucksack arrived late, so no to good to us.
I rang the company to return the rucksack. At first, they said i need to pay for the returns. Only when i argued and asked to speak to a senior, the returns charge was waived.
The item was received back to Ultimate on 18 June.
I was told I will only get a refund of the cost of the item and not the delivery charge. Again only when I asked to speak to a senior was the delivery charge included in the refund.
However, I have still NOT received the refund.
