limited choice and inflated prices made worse by a refit that caused a 7 week closure.
Selection of greetings cards has been diminished to almost nothing and since reopening they’re not interested in much other than getting customers to serve themselves at the “card only” self service area.
Tills down this afternoon so no cash payments, 2 staff stood around looking dazed and confused as one other staff member scrambles to find cheque envelopes for the post office.
Queue of cash paying customers up the last aisle hoping tills will be working again soon, one customer abandoned a basket of shopping and walked out after a struggle with the self service checkout.
We’ve survived just fine without this place when it was closed for the refit and will take our custom elsewhere permanently now because this “new and improved” setup is atrocious.

Great service and excellent opening times. Went to buy chips on Sunday night next door and it was closed, thankfully the coop was open till 22:00. Fed 6 adults with ready meal for around £18, good value. Shop assistant was polite. Only negative is the aisles are a bit tight, but there is a good selection thanks to the close aisles. Will be back again.

Check your dates on your fresh food as food that's 2 days past it's sell by date is shocking. That's 3 times in a year and today was my last visit for good.

The best coop going! Always have everything in you could think of or need in a rush. The staff are lovely and there’s a post office inside that’s open the same hours as the coop which is amazing!
