Very poor shop. Friday morning, and very little choice of fresh vegetables. Doesn't have basic meal ingredients and is very expensive. For a local, I couldn't do a basic food shop for elderly parents. Useless.

Don't go in with a shopping list or any hopes of getting even the basics. Empty shelves on a Friday morning. Very disappointing. I tried to support this 'local business', but I'm going to have to go elsewhere.

Staff are excellent but there simply aren't enough of them to cope. Shelves are often empty of fresh produce. I don't blame the employees in the Wooler store but the management need to get their act together and get enough items into the shop to cope with the increased summer demand.

Really good selection of wines at a great price. Good general variety of everyday goods. Service could be a little better at times ie. sometimes the queue can get pretty long before they call another member of staff to the tills, occasionally slow service too. However it's the only shop in central Wooler that is open until 11.

This is my local shop and stocks a very creditable range of items for a small village - there is almost nothing you cannot get here! The shop is coping very well with the Covid arrangements - watch out for the traffic lights! These prevent too many people entering the shop at one time.
Full marks for effort to the team at Wooler Co-op.

Not cheap and normally understaffed, not the fault of local staff more a result of national policy. The Co-op claims they don't have supermarkets, only convenience stores and that's why the prices aren't competitive. The funny thing is they tend to have their convenience stores in small villages or town's where there is no competition. There is also a safety issue with the Wooler store. When you walk out of the brightly lit store at night there is no light over the exit, just street lighting. It's an accident waiting to happen.
