A good local place to get groceries if you can't get to the supermarket. Friendly staff and some decent offers. The five for A fiver deals on frozen foods are great for feeding the kids on a budget.

A really good store. The staff are friendly and helpful it's a clean bright well appointed store, with a good selection of food and drink. There's a small carpark to the front, and on road parking too,
its also handy for the bus stop.

Handy as a local pop in shop. Unfortunately they took the store over from Spar which was run in to the ground by it's franchise owners.

We were really quite pleased that Coop had taken the shop over but over the past couple of months we have noticed the same problem that Spar had: The milk!!! The milk is NOT stored correctly because, it seems, they have used the same broken refrigeration unit.

We drink a lot of milk and our preference is goats semi skimmed. This is probably twice as expensive as semi skimmed cow's milk, so not cheap. We have had to throw away two full one litre cartons this morning that have a 'use by date' of 30 April - today is only the 26th. This happens time and time again and is getting beyond a joke. So, instead of having a walk around the corner we are now going to have to get in to the car and get to the nearest Tesco.

How do I know the refrigeration unit is not operating at the correct temperature.... easy, my wife used to work at the Spar and it was faulty then!

I like this store very much. Excellent produce fresh and the bread is divine. Its a bit on the pricey side for some products but good quality.
