Today 22 Nov 24 I arranged for my husband to collect my click and collect, 2 separate orders. He received 2 parcels and returned home not realising that 1 of the orders were split into 2. The 2nd parcel was still in store, he returned to collect the parcel to his disbelief somebody had opened the parcel and put it on a shelf behind the desk? Why and who opened the parcel ? This needs to be investigated.

I’ve come to expect nothing other than poor produce, poor selection and poor customer service from this place over the last couple of years, after we visited today to shop for ingredients at 12 midday we found NO fresh herbs on the shelf, the ones that were left were dead as they haven’t been watered, we wanted to cook a bit of a special family recipe this Saturday, we had to go to Lidl who had plenty left. This is just straw that broke the camels back, I’m sick to the back teeth of coming here and not being able to get what I need. I realised that because Goldborne is a bit of deprived area, the shops seem to be the same, we have decided to start shopping elsewhere at a premium supermarket, yes we’ll pay more but at least we will get what we need and won’t have to go to different shops to get the ingredients we need. Asda really has lost the plot.

Don’t usually write a review but disgusted today with the lack of support available for people shopping with mobility issues. As I entered there was a lady in the entrance struggling in a mobility scooter, attempting to bag her groceries and transfer them to the cart. I stopped with my daughter and we spent 5 minutes helping her bag items, watching her cart while she returned the mobility scooter into the store and retrieve her crutches , then assist her across the car park to the taxi pick up. With the increase in self services checkouts that support from staff members is missing.

Couldn't get fuel, toilets being cleaned so had to use the disabled toilets. Shelves being stocked during opening hours blocking the Isles. Not a good experience going into a supermarket when they are obviously saving money by cleaning up early i don't want to have to dodge staff while I'm shopping.

The staff are very aggressive at this branch and i have ended up in hospital because of the trauma. I arrived late at 3:53 having been at work all day, attempting to just go in to grab a bread. I saw others in front of me going inside the store just a few steps ahead of me. When I got to the door I was stopped and told I was too late, I checked, the time was 3:53. I asked if I could just get 1 loaf of bread to make lunch for my children for school in the morning. I was told no, then another lady, a staff member, came very aggressively at me shouting that its the law its the law over and over while I tried to ask her what is the cut off time, she said 3:55, so I replied that I was here for 3 minutes standing here its now 3:56. She kept arguing very aggressively that I was there at 3:55. About 5 staff members came to the front and stood in the door way in a threatening manner. The way the staff handled this situation was very traumatising, my young daughter was left in tears after the way that staff member shouted at us. I am currently 7 months pregnant and have ended up in the emergency room because of the distress she caused me. I feel this reaction by the staff was specifically directed at me.

I've come to this branch essentially my entire life, enough that I would assume some of the staff know me and have known me since I was a child. The decision within the last few months to cancel overnight restocking is the most nonsensical thing I've ever known. Pallets upon pallets EVERYWHERE. lining up every single isle, blocking everything that's on a shelf, with metal cages everywhere and left abandoned a lot of the time. You do realise in order for people to buy things they need to reach the shelves right? I'm confident this is 100% against health and safety regulations. I know that I'm pretty sick of climbing over and around pallets to get at food items on shelves. I've had to set my basket down to get around things and come back to it.
I've seen other people struggling to get down and around isles because of staff, pallets and other customers trolleys. It is now completely unpractical to shop here 90% of the day.

Shopped this morning, Sunday, opens 10am. Large queue at every payment point, no bags at any checkouts, no hand held scanners at occupied checkouts so had to put large bags of compost and pots etc onto checkout to be scanned by the operator.
Why does it have to be like this on Sunday mornings?
