Hats off to Gary the car park attendant. I left my card in the petrol pump and was in a blind panic. The card had not been handed into the store but Gary was very helpful helping me retrace my steps, he was so lovely and reassuring and brought my stress levels right down. Thank you Gary you really helped me overcome this event.

Very poor.. had a delivery for today 7-8am it never turned up no notification nothing. I called up as waiting in, driver then said over the phone would be there at 9.30. I popped out quickly got back for 9.30 again no one turned up. I have called up about 5 times today. Again I had to go out later on and said I would be back around 7pm so they said would get the driver to come then as no one showed up all day. Again no one has turned up. My order was needed as needed baby powder. Called up and now they said oh it will be cancelled now and will be about 5 days for refund. Absolutely disgusting, I’ve waited round for this all day expecting my delivery. Spoken to numerous people. If I was told today this wouldn’t be coming I would have gone and bought most of the stuff as was needed. Had so many issues with these deliveries lately, usually always the alarms left on the baby powders when delivered. partner had to saw off the alarm the other week, happens everytime! Are these people stupid.. Won’t be shopping there no more. I only shop there and get delivery’s quite frequently for convenience but not any more. Issues me a £5.00 voucher… what good is that paid about 5.00 for delivery? Is that getting refunded to me. Absolutely useless this shop

Very poor experience trying to collect an item from Woodchurch store in Wirral. Wandered round the store looking for the collection point and then assumed it must be at customer service, was near the front of a short queue that wasn't moving for over 5 minutes because no one seemed to be serving. Found a sign with an arrow that said collections seemed to be down the other end of the shop, wandered around for another couple of minutes until I found a store assistant who told me it was actually at the customer service desk ? by the time I got back to the queue another 8 people had joined. Frustrated I decided to leave and spoke to the greeter at the door who told me if my parcel wasn't collected it would be sent back to the depot, at this point and a lot more frustrated I asked to speak to the manager and was told they were all in a meeting, which as it was 5.30 in the afternoon and probably their busiest time, I found very strange. Leaving a review has been far from easy to do, apparently you need a receipt to even be able to leave one ?

Just popped in for some sparkling water on way home from work. Paid at self service. Used if I needed a receipt so I said no. Went to leave store and my trolley locked. Security asked for my receipt and I explained that I didn't have one. So my trolley was put to one side and I was asked to show which checkout I had used. So I took him over to the checkout. Then asked me to go to customer service desk while they searched for my receipt. All this time I am standing by the door with security standing next to me. Obviously this was not a pleasant experience. So I asked for a refund which amounted to £5.25! I spoke to the manager who explained that because I only had a few items the security system didn't have time to release my trolley. Was I supposed to wander around inside the store until I was allowed to go? The checkout asks if you need a receipt, Yes or No. It doesn't state that if you don't take a receipt then you will be treated like a criminal. I shop at this store almost every day but this experience will put me off shopping here again. I'd like to point out though, the staff were pleasant throughout. But the system in this store is a joke!

No baskets anywhere and even on the tills?! Had to take a small trolley with 5 items in and the guy at the tills wouldn’t let me use the quick till, had to wait another 10 mins to use the other till whilst there was 6 by him left open. I’ve shopped here 4 times this year and every time the customer service is horrendous. Absolutely the last visit

I am absolutely disgusted that my partner was accused of robbing a bottle whisky we are regular customers to this store and to be accused like that is a disgrace for fact that my partner would never dream of robbing anything need to get better and professional staff and security.the lady who was on the self service knew he paid but they still wanted to see a receipt which did say he paid for it then as he was walking out got made to empty his pockets which was also empty.no apology or anything such disgusting behaviour.

Staff member went above and beyond to find a particular bottle of wine I needed for a present. He searched the warehouse and found one box which he brought back to me whilst I was enjoying a chat with his colleague who was busy filling the shelves. So friendly, pleasant and efficient. And the wine was much appreciated.

For such a large supermarket, the vegetables, salad and fruit fresh options were poor. Also very few jams and marmalades.
