Not worth your effort. Not very big but still empty units or shops closing. The roof leaks like a sieve. The car park is run by a third party company who hand out parking tickets like sweeties including to disabled customers parked in disabled bays showing blue badges. Feel free to visit but you'll be disappointed.

Sadly the council have ruined burgess hill hardly any decent shops . Independent one's can't afford the high rent prices. A few little hidden restaurants and local pubs are good worth a visit in the evening.

Imagine a small town shopping centre that was full of useful popular high street names. Now imagine one ravaged by time and bad local planning decisions. That's The Martlets. There is B&M that's ok, like a slightly more expensive Wilko's. I miss Wilko's. Oh and there's a Waitrose if you don't mind paying more for the same stuff Tesco has down the road. Enjoy.

With a great selection of independent shops and high street names on it's a great place to come if you need anything in town. Cheap and easy parking. I love the retro 70s precinct, it could definitely accommodate some more hipster shops, cafés!

Usually lively with good range of shops and always kept clean. Stairs and lift to first floor toilets. Near Church Road bus stops and ample parking. Seating for Greggs removed and one access to the butchers cut off while waiting for roof repairs? B & M welcome addition and Waitrose still great asset

The Martlets is home to a good size Waitrose, Boots, and Wilko's. Other shops include a good dry cleaners (I recommend them), KFC, Gregs, a very expensive toy shop, gift card shop and a Vodafone, among others. It's well lit with natural light and I think it will flourish when the adjoining development is completed - scheduled to being works after this Pandemic is over.

Oh dear, what has happened to our town. Now only seems to be full of cafés and charity shops. Would like to see some independent small businesses set up to attract more people and give it the feel & atmosphere it used to have.
