Beautiful venue with ample space for parking which at first seems deceptively small. Clean and warm considering it was a very cold day. The facilities are good for people with young children.

We attended a dog show in pouring rain in the field next to the hall. We were told we couldn't use the hall despite the rain. The raffle and prizes were set up in the reception area and we were allowed to use the toilets and café, but not the hall.
I understand that it's a nice, fairly new facility and that the management committee may have been concerned about any potential mess but we've been to dog shows in village and Church halls all over the country without any problems. The people that organise these shows work hard to arrange everything and always clear up thoroughly afterwards.
Other than the venue, the show was enjoyable despite the inclusion of some cross breed dogs in pedigree classes! Lurchers are lovely dogs, ( I've had one) but they are not classified as hounds in a pedigree class. Same for any ......doodles, ......poos and most JRT's. I'm sure you love your dogs, and so you should but unless you have Kennel Club papers your dog is a mutt. Also, if you paid more than a couple of hundred for it, you've been mugged off.

Until today I did not know it was there. A real hidden gem for the town. The hall seems to be a multi use asset.
I am guessing that it can be rented out for parties or wedding receptions.
