As a new sewer I asked the help of the lady at the fabric counter. She was extremely helpful, laying out my pattern pieces to make sure I got the right amount of fabric for my project (see photo!). Lovely selection of fabrics for all budgets. I even managed to get 3ply wool which is harder to find. I’ve shopped here a few times and always happy to find an excuse to visit again!

I and my friends feeling so lucky to have such a great shop locally. I love coming in just see what's there in the Aladins cave and never leave without something. The girls are the best. If you had a coffee corner I would never leave Meryl

I was so happy to find this shop! I am a keen sewer and love all things craft (as do my girls) I am so disappointed at the 4 times I have visited. Each time I felt like I was an unwanted guest, taking up the staffs time. I have tried striking up a craft conversation, I have tried smiling, I have always been polite but the response from staff on each occasion has been unfriendly, no smiles and no conversation. I really wanted to support a small business but unfortunately I will not be shopping here again. From a very sad crafter

Great shop but found staff helpful until I'd paid (approx £100) then staff became rude. Sadly i won't go again.
I choose where to spend my money and have found a great little store packed full of the same products with better prices and friendly staff elsewhere.

This shop has more staff than customers and yet none of them are any help, you’re treated like the unwanted guest and they won’t recognise you no matter how many times you shop there. It’s like a bad sitcom where the shop layout is impossible to get around and the oddly elderly assistants don’t actually assist. They have been almost comically rude to us a number of times now and while we like to support local shops I’d rather order from Amazon than give this place any more money.

Been in here a few times for Homeworking supplies - the staff are very friendly and helpful. The shop is absolutely brimming with stuff and looks a bit higgledy piggledy but its a treasure trove of useful items.

My wife went in (as the shop staff were being cautious, the numbers in the shop were limited). She spent more than she anticipated she would, as she found items which were either necessary/useful!
