For some reason I've had a re-occurent problem with them getting orders wrong ,even though we use the app,nobody likes getting someone else's food ,then having to wait another hour or so before they eventually arrive,we order here most of the time disappointed in their service

The food is amazing most days but there is the odd occasion where the food isn't all that, ordering is relativley simple but there can be long waiting times every now and then. Their frozen chips don't acctually go in a freezer but rather sit in a corner but it's fine because they get cooked anyway and they are lush.

We decided to try Spice Express after a recommendation from a couple friends. Every part of our experience was disappointing. Firstly, the delivery driver arrived 25/30 mins late after the estimated time with no apology and bad communication skills for an obviously late delivery. Secondly the food was really bad, the southern fried chicken we ordered was smothered in oil (covering the boxing causing large wet patches) it was also very salty, dry and no crispiness at all, the oil had spread to the very thin bags. The order had been badly packed. My recommendation to anyone considering ordering from this takeaway is to stay far away (even in an apocalypse!) There are much better takeaways for fried chicken etc that are higher quality.

Awful service, pre-ordered at 16.20 today, order was confirmed and payment taken from my bank, by 18.00 no food had been delivered so I phoned them, only to be told very rudely that no order has been taken for our address, I said that I had an order number but all I got was barked at very rudely and told to ring Foodhub. Foodhub were very helpful and managed to get me a refund. I can understand that being at the end of the month things are busy but that does not excuse rudeness. They have lost a customer now and I would advise anyone else to think twice before ordering from this place!

I had previously rated this establishment 1 start due to the horrendous kebab they had sold me (pictured). Since then I have used this place again due to the one I originally used has now changed hands. I have since changed my decision as they have improved on their food immensely and now I couldn't recommend them more. I am now a regular here.

Ordered a Turkish butvnot kofta but also didn't get dona either .. people are great but over the last few times very bad don't sem to care which is sad as the owner is a top bloke

Really gone downhill. Last 3 orders have been late. Chased our last order twice and was told both times that it was on its way. Arrived just before 9pm. Despite being ordered at 6pm and was barely warm. No real concern was shown when we called to advise of this. Will be finding a new takeaway from now on.
