This Cafe/shop/post office is a fabulous find.
You can park easily nearby and take a lovely walk along the old ironworks and beyond.
The cafe/ shop is a community project with lots of local things sold there.
Also had my first oatmilk latte. Very nice and creamy.

Even though this shop is tiny, the food and coffee were great and the staff excellent! Dont expect a huge selection.

Wonderful shop with a great selection of high-quality snacks, magazines and gifts. We needed nothing but couldn't help buying something as temptation hit.

Popped in to the shop, bought a can of Coke. Went to sit down in the cafe and was rudely told to leave as I hadn’t bought the can from the cafe which incidentally has a door directly from the shop into the cafe.
How you are supposed to know that they are separate businesses is anyone’s guess. I had intended to stay for quite a while as I was waiting for someone and would have probably ordered some lunch. Clearly the only two people that were sat at the tables were going to fund the days business rates and they don’t need my money.
Another perfect example of a friendly village in the UK. Try harder!
