Bland. The best word I can think of to describe the food here is bland. The chips needed 3 lots of salt to have flavour which I've never had to do before. The chicken goujons were very chewy and tough in places and the chicken hardly had any flavour either. We asked for the burger sauce to be taken off our burgers, but they also took the mayo off without asking us. Not majorly impressed at the food quality.

From start to finish a lovely experience. Our server Lynette was friendly and very helpful, nothing was too much. The food was amazing and tasted great. Well done Chef Jack! All the meals we had and desserts were beautiful and we had no complaints whats so ever, even refillable fizzy drinks. Affordable pricing, offers on and free parking.

Came in as a group of ladies tonight after leaving the Vikings (hungry horse) due to a bad food and service experience… was served by Ellis who was absolutely wonderful. She was rushed off her feet due to low staff she was the only one womanning the bar but she did an incredible job on her own, yes drinks wasn’t immediate but cocktails never are! She brought them over when made and provided a great service. She was a credit to the venue and honestly deserves a drink herself after dealing with us! Some low music would be great in the bar area but otherwise a much preferred option for some good cocktails 2 for a tenner, no rowdy drunks and a nice relaxed atmosphere for some dinner and drinks. We will be back!

We had a warm welcomed, shown straight to a table.
Ordering was quick and easy, food arrived very quickly and was fantastic.
The place is beautiful and clean.
The young lady came over to ask if everything was okay, she was polite and professional.
When we were leaving, we got a "goodnight" and "enjoy the rest of your evening".
Overall Absolutely fantastic.
Thank you everyone that was working last night. (26th Oct 9pm)

Booked in today for Boxing day, they've been advertising the boxing day menu for weeks which looked really nice. Arrived for our 2pm booking to be told there was no boxing day menu and we would have to order from the 'normal ' menu. We were not given any apology nor explanation, quite frankly the member of staff seemed disinterested and quite rude. Hugely disappointed with the service on this occasion.... if we could have got something elsewhere at short notice on a Boxing day then we would have walked out... definitely won't be booking again for any special occasion.

I was very well looked after by Grant and the team at Brewers Fayre on my work trip to Goole!
Fabulous sense of humour, great atmosphere and felt very comfortable considering I was travelling alone.

I also stayed in the Hotel next door (Premier Inn). This was very clean, quiet decent sized room with everything I needed.

Thank you - see you next year 🙂 x

Been today, greatest by a woman who asked me to close the door even tho I was holding open for my husband, we ordered smothered chicken for myself and husband ordered pizza, mine was cold and pizza basic value pizza with topping chucked on. Ordered pudding and waited almost 40 mins for it to come and only came when my husband went to see and obviously had been forgotten. Plus side however was seeing family who don't see often and was a good location. Feel very over priced for the quality of food. Would I visit again, maybe when family visit next year. The serving staff I will say where very polite

Didn’t want to moan as I was with others but I ordered smothered chicken with no salad. It took just an hour to be served,Sunday lunch table booked for 1.45, and when mine arrived there were a few scrappy chips that were supposed to be skin on and weren’t,some peas in place of salad, the chicken which was ok and no garlic bread.I should have said something but I was in company as I said. The dessert was very nice so that was a bonus! Will think twice about having another experience there again!
