Nice Christmas displays when we visited. Also took in the cafe, sadly we got there at about 4pm and it was just cakes, drinks and snacks as the main menu had finished for the day. Spend £25 in the centre and they give you a token for a free cafe drink for your next visit

A good Garden Centre let down by it's cafe staff
There appears a total lack of training from the moment you arrive to the staff ignoring you while you comply with the wait her to be seated..to staff standing around instead of having areas of responsibilty for customers at specific table areas...you can wait 15 minutes to have your order taken despite staff standing around doing nothing except having a chat in the kitchen area or with counter staff. Its all down to poor training and poor management. GET A GRIP it could be so much better the food is good....once you get it?

Tuesday we had scrambled egg on toast egg was like rubber not nice. Bought a scone to take away that I buttered that afternoon it was like rock. We won’t be back, shame about That tea shop shutting down that was lovely, not many good ones left, looks like Tuesday is a bad day to go to Howden as the Kitchen was shut too.

Called in on the way to the coast. The plants looked very healthy concidering the hot weather we are having. Loos were spotless they're in the outside plant area. Inside had a range of fancy goods, bird stuff, clothes etc. Had dog food and toys but didn't spot anything for any other pets, 😾 could have missed it. Has a cafe we stopped for a drink the ladies seemed friendly and the place was spotless.

We went to this Garden Centre to meet a friend. It's a massive place with plenty of parking space & a huge range of products inside. Outside there are plants & all the garden items. Inside there is garden furniture, clothes, gifts, cards, food & homeware. The access is good & everything is labelled. There is also a coffee shop/restaurant where you can purchase food & drinks. We had lunch there which was really good & a few days earlier our friend had breakfast there which was also excellent. The staff are attentive & very polite.

Regular stop for us on our way to Scarborough.
Christmassy displays are just beautiful, as always, along with all its plants and festive treats!
Have seen this place grow and grow over the years to meet demand!
Recommend the salmon and prawn bloomer … bloomin’ huge!
