Absolutely fantastic shop and even better after recent complete refurbishment. Freshly cooked meats, hot breakfast takeaway etc and a fantastic range of foodstuff, both fresh and frozen.

The steak is amazing, the best I have had in ages. The issue I have is the customer service. I have been 3 times and each time the staff have not even said hi. Each time I have been to the till to have to wait whilst the staff chat on to themselves about staff issues. The only interaction I have had is when they eventually have taken my goods, said the amount then carried on the conversation as if I wasn't there. I have even said thank you at the end without a reply from anyone. Totally ignored from start to finish. Not sure the butchers that produce the amazing food would be happy with that. A smile and a chat is not hard, especially if it's your job.

Called in today because the missus said she wanted a decent sausage (no sniggering at the back). As we walked around, on display were trays of steak, £20 for four steaks, a bit extravagant I thought but the missus saw a a sticker on the packs saying 2 for the price of 1. So at £2.50 a steak, we lashed out and bought them, if I were to say that they were the worst steak that I have ever had it would be a complete lie. 😉
They were the most tender and tastiest steaks that I have had in a long time. I just hope that the spare ribs and stuffed breast of lamb are up to the same excellent standard.
Oh yes, the missus got her sausage.

Good value for money butchers and freezer section. Nice selection of Chinese frozen foods. However keep your head down going in the canopy they use is very dangerous. They are going to be sued one day. Keep your head down.

Had some of their thin pork sausages without doubt the BEST sausages ive tried the pack said 80% meat highly recommended

Quality steaks esp their promotional ribeyes box of 6 for £9.99 with their salt and pepper rub if you ask them behind the counter or their bacon ribs 1kg for £10.50 however when you ask for special meats you have to order vast amounts which is disappointing. Frozen steaks are vacuum sealed so no frost bitten food.
