Their main business is repairing farm equipment so they are likely to be quite backed-up at certain times of the year ... and they aren't the cheapest either. But, that aside, these considerations are more than countered by the fact that they do a brilliant job with no flim-flam!

Amazing service from all the team at AMF over the last couple of days. Purchased a new lawnmower plus spares for an old one. All ordered in overnight and collected today. A special mention to Chris for his attentive and friendly service but the whole team were brilliant.

Zero customer service.
After waiting the quoted time for the lawnmower service to be completed and not hearing anything about a quote for possible further work l started phoning each day for an update.
6 phone calls over a week later l was no further ahead and each promise to phone me back was ignored.
Todays phone call to them found that it was ready for collection with work done that was not discussed resulting in a hefty bill. No apologies, no one responsible, “ if you’re not happy with the bill leave the machine, just walk away”. Avoid this company like the plague.

Fantastic Service.
I phoned them on a Wednesday, they picked my Honda Mower up from my home the next day and delivered it backed to my home on the following Monday, Fully serviced, fault rectified, cleaned up and now looking and running perfect. Incredible service, very polite and friendly, you can't get better than that. I will definitely be using them again.

My lawnmower had gone to that great grass heaven in the sky and due to no mow May, our grass was like a jungle. I knew what I wanted to buy, but it was out of stock everywhere, apparently because of the snarl up in the Suez Canal, AMF services sales manager Mark, advised me to pay upfront, as that would enable my purchase to be delivered as soon as it arrived in the UK, really glad I took his advice. My lovely new Cobra cordless mower was delivered less than a week later and the lawn now looks much better. Great customer service, thank you Mark

Very bad. Last time I asked how to fix the mower next time after I paid over £120 to have mine repaired. For him to say he wouldn’t tell me because then I wouldn’t come back next time. It turns out the problem could be fixed with grease in less than 5 minutes. Dodgy people who only care about money, not customers.

I find the service to be really quite astonishingly good. They literally come to our house and carry the mower out to their vehicle and then deliver it back to us in the same way. Really, in this day and age they are virtually unique. A real boon for people who haven't got a car. The work is good too. But the customer service is from a different age: old fashioned in the best sense.
