A few of us went out riding today, all was going pretty well up until one of my fellow riders had a bad fall and injured his shoulder. After we called an ambulance, the shock and adrenaline passed, he started to complain of severe pain. Couldn't find a nearby shop, however as I was walking down the road to look for places, I saw a gentleman called Steve walking back to his Army and Navy shop.

After explaining the situation, Steve immediately checked his first aid box and handed me ibuprofen.

Steve is reminder that there are still decent people out there who are willing to help where they can.

Just wanted to say a BIG THANKS to Steve, a true gentleman.

As for my fellow rider, ambulance came within the hour and took him to Harold Wood Polyclinic for an xray. Hopefully, he'll be on the mend and back to giving us big laughs on our rides.

What an absolutely helpful man in the shop, helped us out immensely today and can't thank you enough (gazebo sides) they worked a treat .... Thank you a million times over, what a great place for all your camping and work wear needs

This place is one of the only army surplus shops left in the Chelmsford area and I would rather go here than any outdoor pursuits chain. The guy who runs it is really helpful and generally has something to get you out of trouble. He also sells workwear. Worth a visit.
