I’m a regular at Asda Arnold and generally ok shopping there BUT it infuriates me when I go the the self checkout scan an item for it to be not at the correct price you then have to inform a member of staff who are usually hovered around the area chatting away amongst themselves to then be told sorry we can’t leave and the item is deleted because it’s not at the correct price.
Then you physically run round to the isle where the item is take a picture on your phone run back to the checkout show a member of staff the correct price then they sort it out.
This is ridiculous and and it’s happened 3x now in a short period of time.
The member of staff who was a lady didn’t show me any customer service was disinterested didn’t care and pretty much left me to it but when I returned with proof from a picture I took the gentleman who served me was fantastic sorted it out on the self checkout till pity I didn’t get his name.

Okay and clean, staff seemed lovely. The issue is the store itself. The layout is unusable. Chaos with items split up with no rhyme or reason (example yoghurts split in two different fridges aisles away from each other). Some aisles were super wide others barely wide enough for one person nevermind one going each way. Empty unused freezers left unattended with the rest of the freezers with items in were again, aisles away from that section, mixed in with the bread. It was overwhelming and won't be an asda location I visit again unless I hear that it has been changed.

Wow just wow….i bought a pair of trousers for work (by the way I work with a particularly difficult client group) I wore them for work only to be told they were see through (plain black trousers). I had to leave work get a taxi to and from work, leaving my work mates short staffed which puts everyone at risk to change my trousers. So when I finished work I attempted to return them. No I didn’t have a receipt as I bought them with my shopping last Wednesday. And I admit I had taken the tag out of the trousers as I’m allergic to the fabric, I’m sorry I didn’t realise that said trousers were see through I wasn’t expecting this . The floor manager was unhelpful and quite rude (she wasn’t even wearing a name badge. I asked for her full name and she wouldn’t tell me. If you work on the services DO NOT BUY CLOTHES FROM ASDA!!! I will be sending back to head office. Avoid

This store is genuinely awful I did a trolley shop this evening and there was not one manned till open. I tried to scan using the trolley tills and it constantly failed needing a member of staff to come over 7-8 times then the till failed completely . Finally the staff member had to key the whole shop it took me 20 mins approx to pay. Then when you go online to complain that doesn’t work either and the customer service phone number is shut it’s a shamble I am never going here again

Shopped here for many years, shame about the lack of tills with people on them. I don't think it will be long before its all self serve checkouts.
Always plenty of bargains and there is a large variety of products.

Very weird to access downstairs parking then going up in a lift it’s just terrible. You could go outside too but it’s awful the access. Range is terrible clothes and food often out of stock. Better branches are strelley and west bridgeford.

Thanks Asda-Saturday steak night in and yet again having to spend more time cutting sinew and inedible fatty muscle from an Extra Special fillet steak.
The offending parts are always hidden face down on the bottom of the tray and it's happening so regularly as to not be a mistake.
Workers in the meat packing department definitely aren't butchers.
The flavour is generally good, but the attached offal is shameful and probably fraudulent when charging over £37/kilo.
Not recommended.
