As a student living nearby, this is my go-to supermarket for grocery shopping. I find almost everything I need here. The “Just Essentials” products are quite cheap too. I’ve had to approach the staff twice so far, and they’ve been helpful and kind both times.
(Fun fact: I made my very first purchase right here after coming to the UK.)

They sell disposable barbeques for £3.. so that's all it costs to set fire to the moors!! Not only that they are bad for you and don't cook you food properly. Do NOT buy them. Be responsible. Unless you're a chav then obviously that doesn't apply to you.

The randomness of the stock in the shop surprises me. There seems to be some really obvious but small things missing
The stock doesn’t have the greatest dates on it and isn’t always in the best condition. It’s almost as though the good stuff gets delivered to big Asda and the left overs get sent here.
The layout is also quite strange.

Had a photo printing machine and the staff are friendly. Ok for last minute essentials but you’d struggle to do the weekly shop here.

💥 Appaulling service! 6 drivers waiting for delivery upto 45 minutes to 1 hour!! And 1 person only picking. When you politely ask they get aggresive towards drivers. This should not be the case! We delivrry drivers deserve better treatment!! 💥

A close family member who has an eye condition and arthritis visited this shop today, and due to the one check out not working she had to use the self-service. Due to her eye condition she asked a member of staff for help, the woman was clearly not happy to help as she was chuntering under breath. Once my family member had finished her shopping, the member of staff turned to her colleague and said “there’s clearly nothing wrong with her”. My family member asked for help due to not being able to see the screen and this is how she was treat.

I went for my lunch in the morning and was quite surprised how miserable the staff looked. There were no smiles and some seemed quite rude. I don't like complaining but I just felt there was no cheeriness in the store.

Good range of stock, however, the queue organisation is terrible. No guards between lanes, so all customers have to line up in one single queue, even if you have a basket. No signs, so was rudely snapped at by a female worker. Wouldn't be a problem, but tills are slow and making people wait in crowded areas is unacceptable.
