Came here to do my shoppings after 11 hours shift… full trolly with some food and clothing. Went to the tilt, no cashier, asked some staff they said they short … had to scan and packed almost 300£ worth of shopping. All this scan and go and other stuff I hate it. I have to do a cashier job and I’m not good at it … people are loosing jobs and they don’t even notice. Don’t recommend coming here.

Really dirty terrible staff on self checkouts just stand around talking. Customers definitely do not come first wait for ages if you need help. Would not recommend worse Asda I have ever been to. Avoid if you can

Pleasant shopping experience with friendly staff and plenty of choice for your weekly shopping. Everything that you'd expect from an Asda. However, as some reviewers suggested it does get quite crowded!

Whatever time of the day evening or night I have been in this store I have been greeted with smiles and given excellent service. Tonight at about 10:30 I was in the store and looking for some flavored water I asked one of the staff who was filling shelves in the wines and spirits area and he guided me to the area where I could expect to find what I was looking for. His name is Mark , picture attached. He apologized before we got there that hadn't been filled up yet and true to his prediction what I was looking for was not on the shelf. However there was quite a lot stacked on the very top of the rack.
Mark asked what flavour was my preference and went about getting it down for me. Definitely service with a smile.
The other member of staff who pleased me this evening was Liam on security, picture attached.
As I entered the store I noticed that the baskets were stacked very high and would be inaccessible to anybody less than five foot ten.
I mentioned this in a Jovial manner to Liam and was very surprised to find when I went to the self checkout area to see that Liam had restaked the baskets in a much more convenient and accessible manner.
Absolute top marks 5/5 without any hesitation

Hi, I came into your store a couple of days ago with my partner, we had just gotten our medication from the pharmacy and decided to not get any bits as we no longer needed them, we gave a lady at the tills our scanner and told her we wouldn’t be buying anything, she took the scanner and didn’t say anything else as we walked up to the doors my partner smacked his leg and his hernia into the trolly and was very uncomfortable, a security women came over with a face like thunder and had asked what the issue was and was very blunt, my partner had said why can’t I move the trolly, she replied “the wheels lock if you don’t buy anything” my partner than said he had no warnings and he smashed his leg and hurt his hernia, she replied “well all supermarkets do it” so we left. I thought that was absolutely disgusting and rude! There are no warnings that a trolly does that and she was so rude to my partner! That could have been a vulnerable old lady who smacked her head, what then? We won’t be coming back, every time we enter your store it’s a disappointment.

Always when you order online they have at least a few missing products. I don't get it how they manage to have missing products always in 2024 with all this digital technology and they can't keep track of their stock. Out of around 30+ orders done in the last year, not even once a order was complete (it had something missing, usually minim 3-4 products). Now what bothers me is that they always substitute with lower products (ex: you order 600g sausages, they substitute it with 150g sausage, at same price). I think they do it on purpose to scam customers. Most don't check their orders and they get away with it. Well Morrisons and Iceland got a new customer. Thank you Asda.

Used to go shopping here with family before Highbridge Asda came along 🙂
