I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Asda. I checked online and saw that Red Bull 12-packs were on sale. I specifically made the trip to this store just for this deal.

While the staff on the shop floor were incredibly friendly and helpful, confirming that the price was the same in-store as online, the issue arose at checkout. The cashier outright refused to honour the sale price, claiming it wasn’t on offer.

This is incredibly misleading—advertising a sale price online but seemingly restricting it to delivery or click-and-collect options that include added fees. This feels like a deliberate tactic to mislead customers.

I am frustrated to have wasted my time and fuel for an offer that was essentially unavailable. It’s unacceptable, and this store really needs to improve its clarity and consistency between online and in-store prices.

Lack of choice out of stock on a lot. The water machine needs descaling. Didn't drink my tea or coffee. Food tasted like really old oil. Even staff seemed wary of the food they serve .

Where this used to be my go to supermarket I feel recently that people running the store have taken their eye off the ball. The produce isn't treated with respect, I often have bruised bananas and crushed crisps from their multi packs. And the online delivery pickers are not careful with their trollies, I've been run down a few times while shopping. They also won't get a grip of people without disabled badges parking in the spaces at the front of the store. I only pop in for bits nowadays. Shame.

How can someone with a Blue badge not get parked in the many disabled bays. It's because non Blue badge holders park in them and nothing gets done about it.
Not disability friendly at all.

Customer service is utterly beyond a joke. 11 calls I've made about the same issue and it's still not resolved. Staff and there managers don't have a clue what their own procedures are. Told something different every time I ring. Still no proper response from any of them. YOU CANNOT TREAT CYSTOMRRS LIKE THIS. I'm now having to shop at a different supermarket. Outrageous

The deliveries is a nightmare. There's always something missing! Today I had a delivery at 10am and an item was missing, I've requested a refund, which was declined. I just lost £22!!!

Edit just to add, my delivery was supposed to be here between 8:30pm and 9:30pm. I rang them at 10:30pm to ask when it will be here, just to be told the driver couldn't find my address!!! No phone call from the driver whatsoever. No delivery, refund within 3-5 working days. Leaving me with no nappies or food for the kids.

Scan and go is inconsistent, shopping almost done then freezes up so have to start again, customer services not bothered just told me to go a swap it
Picked up a newspaper and paid at the kiosk after shopping only to find out that I had bought a paper that was a week old, 31st August instead of today 7th September.
And don’t even try the cafe as there is things posted around and they say they have none, your lucky to get a cup of tea

Can be difficult to find a parent and toddler parking but there are loads of other spaces to park.
We had lunch at the cafe and the kids loved the treats. 5⭐ rating for the staff.
