Absolute joke. Waited two hours for delivery! The Uber driver got to the shop very late, and even then this shop still hadn’t had the order packed. Only 6 things! Just for me to find out that they don’t have one of the items 45 mins after I ordered! It’s ridiculous

ordered my shopping through click & collect online, an expensive amount of shopping, you have to bag your own items, i was disappointed that some items had crushed boxes etc. you can decline items but the guy who brought my crates was nowhere to be seen and i gave up trying to find him and assumed the items were probably fine inside ( they weren't!)

on arriving home and storing my shopping i realized the meat i had was short dated ( BB next day)
some of my vegetables were already going.

i could return the items i was not happy with, but i dont have time instead i will write off the £30ish worth of shopping that was not edible and never go to asda again.

i hope reading this you will be more careful than i was as this store either has extremely poor staff that do not care or, more worrying, asda has a policy of pushing damaged/short dated items out to delivery/collection.

This review is only based on the instore cafe.
I ordered a mini breakfast, a full breakfast and a regular coffee. £13.20.. realised these didnt come with toast so paid £1.90 for three 🤨.
Food came within minutes and it was easy to see why. The bacon looked like it had been left on the pavement to cook on a warm day, black meat and hard. The eggs were like paper thin pancakes with a blob of yellow plastercine thrown on and the sausages were colourless unless you count beige as a colour.
I took it back to the counter and said to the lady that we couldnt eat that.
Her response was "would you like to wait for the fresh bacon"..
No, We should have been given fresh bacon, and eggs and properly cooked sausages in the 1st place.
My mum is 85 and if it made her stomach bad, her being in a wheelchair and going straight for her eye test, that would have been a nightmare for everyone 🤬🤬
Absolutely disgusting, no apology offered and I only got £10.50 refund , so it cost me £4.60 for a mildy warm coffee .
AVOID at all costs its food poisoning waiting to happen because I believe everything I was served (except the barely toasted toast) was yesterday's leftovers .

The white chocolate pan cakes used to be my favourite. They are not as nice as they used to be. Been shopping for 3 years in a row now. Highly disappointed. 😕
