Very unhappy with quality of Rump steak cooked perfect but is too chewy to eat. Not worth what we paid and ruined our meal. This is the second time we have had Rump like this will not be purchasing again. Steak is a treat should not have to spend hard earned money on this poor quality product.

I don't have a clue why you would want to shop here. I only go in for the occasional item but always it is a mess.

The staff are treated poorly by management which in turn makes them unreceptive. ASDAs 'ethics' are questionable as the meat tastes plastic and is clearly from a factory farm. (Revolting) Their own product, if stocked is cheap and nasty. Horrible experience all around as well as layout. Shop at Morrisons in New Brighton or if you just want a few items, a Tesco, Home Bargains or local is much better a choice.

Edit: 1 year later and it still looks like a warzone!

Just came back from a poor shopping experience at Asda in Liscard. products are moved around every week, and there are signs telling you which doors to use to enter and exit. There was only one manned till open and long queues at the self service ones. The place is obviously under a new GM who has no regard for the regular customers. It is a shambles.

The staff in this store are so rude. It's no wonder the majority of them have been replaced by self checkouts. Any time you use the checkouts you have to call for their attention as they all stand around talking. There are never any scanners to use as they are too lazy to take them back to the charging points. Shelves are never checked. You have items just dumped. The store is always dirty. Just recently been back to this store 24/05/2024 and it has got no better. Only 1 scanner available. Back to using the app. When selecting some items you had to take them to be weighed. I spoke to someone in-store who told me they could do nothing. They then stopped a colleague. I took this person to show the issue with the prices and he removed the label telling me they hadn't updated the price from that morning. I just checked this online and the price as advertised was correct it was the weighing machine which was incorrect. Charged me more than advertised. Whilst it was only pennies the difference if you were purchasing a lot of the items it would soon rack into pounds difference. Again carts left in the middle of the aisles blocking items. An elderly or person with low mobility would struggle to move these. Empty boxes littering the shelves. I pleaded with you to do better and it seems you haven't. Such a shame that your staff do not take pride in the stores appearance. Please do better in future.

I used to love this asda the last two times experiencing Asda pharmacy has left me upset and disappointed. I have autism so getting on the phone can be overwhelming, but when I have emergency prescriptions for my diabetes medicine I need to check they have items in stock.
Every time I have called the pharmacy about emergency prescriptions through 111 I’ve been told that I’ve done it wrong or need to use my doctor (even though they’re closed, or local pharmacies don’t have stock in)
I understand it can be frustrating having people ring up 24/7 but the manner you’re speaking to people with, assuming they’re wrong and you’re right…. I’m just trying to get my diabetes medication and get on with my day I’m not trying to cause problems.
Will be unfortunately avoiding from now on.

I don’t often write reviews about stores because it is what it is, but this one is awful.
To mirror what others have said already, all staff are stood around self check outs, chatting between themselves whilst customers stand/try get their attention, waiting for them to scan a bag!

1 person on the till with 5 already in the queue with huge trollies full, so if you’re at the back, you’re looking at a wait of about 20mins! I’d asked if anyone else could be put on a till to serve the queue and was told the queue wasn’t big enough, ‘it’s only down there’; so this is pretty much the norm!

The likes of Lidl and Aldi are meant to be lower on the customer service as reflected in the item prices but in this store, it’s actually non-existent. Won’t be returning

I love this Asda, used to come to it all the time. I remember when it first opened, an shop where me and my girlfriend first met (we are married now).

Went here 27.06.2025 11:30. Always get a pizza made, but today they had a sign up saying not available even though the assistant was there making pizzas. Tried to get her attention but she blanked me... Don't understand we why this service was not available when it was manned. 😞
