It’s a lovely big store with everything you need. What really annoys me is that over the course of half an hour there were several things that I was interested in buying especially the bigger display items that were obviously on offer but they weren’t displaying the prices, and I don’t want to chase around the whole store to find someone who has to go and find someone else who might know the price. I suggest that whoever is in charge goes down every aisle and checks that everything has a price to it. I’m not lying there must have been at least ten things that I was interested in and they weren’t displaying the price.

Check dates on meat and veg, last week I notified a staff member that there was a half box of bacon out if date 16/06/24 in the refrigerated section behind it was another slightly less ood full box. They took it away I assumed to destroy, been back in today 30/06/24 and found half a crate of ood cauliflower dated 22/06/24 (E22 date code). And 28/06/24 (E28 date code) I went to get more bacon to find the same ood 16/06/24 bacon had been put back out for sale mixed with some 28/06/24 ood bacon This in my opinion is not a mistake but a deliberate and dangerous choice. 2 weeks out of date meat could make someone very ill. Edited: It gets worse, popped in store 06 july 2024 and found bacon in the fridge even further out of date than the last lot, 05 june 2024 again mixed with in date stuff. Literally a month out of date, i handed it to one of the store staff and told him it's unacceptable they are going to kill someone with this, he said "there's loads, the stackers aren't doing their job properly" I got a bit annoyed and told him it looks deliberate now I've found out of date meat every time I've been in for at least the last four visits. Edit again: 27th July 2024, bacon in the fridge ood on 22nd July 2024 It's like they don't care or the staff are doing it on purpose,

Really rude customer service.the two ladies on this counter on Saturday evening were rude.i went to collect a just eat dlivery which was supposed to be ready at 7:38, and at 7:49 i asked the lady how if she can tell me how long does this order takes to be ready? She replied to me on bad attitude. i don't know they are making it and i do not know.

I work a few minutes from Asda Minworth so I regularly pop in on my way to work to see if there are any bargains and usually spend between £15-£20. I aways do my main shop here every Friday on my way home from work. I popped in on Monday July 22nd on my way to work and for the first time ever I left without buying anything. I was followed out by security who said he noticed I was looking around for the way out which is true as I've only ever gone through the tills before as I usually buy something he then said he noticed I hadn't bought anything I told him it's because you hadn't got anything I wanted he then said he wanted to search my handbag. I asked him why and the reason was I hadn't bought anything not because I was doing anything suspicious just because I hadn't bought anything. I was mortified he was searching my bag when one of my managers came in. Whatever you do don't leave this store without buying anything or you'll get accused of being a theif like I was. This store needs to sort out there camera's or sort out there staff so innocent people don't get humiliated just because they didn't buy anything.

Many years ago this was a Carrefour with free samples spread throughout the store. Asda followed suit for quite a few years, but sadly this hospitality seems to have disappeared. Quite an impressive store though, with plenty of small businesses operating in there. Non essential retailing all good here, if you can't buy clothes, birthday cards, flowers elsewhere.

I had a food poisoning after eating asda ready to eat thighs. You will be reported to Food and Standards Agency! It's not the first time my family got poisoned! Enough is enough! What a horrible store. Also, you have the most ignorant staff I met. They couldn't care less.

I had a really bad experience at the Minworth store. This is now the fourth time I have gone in for fresh pizza that is made to order. I waited an inordinate amount of time along with other customers who were waiting for a member of staff because it was unstaffed. Then I went looking for a member of staff on the shop floor, which was not easy because there are barely any staff on the shop floor. Eventually I found a member of staff who said they closed the pizza counter at 15:00 because they were short staffed and they needed that member of staff to work elsewhere. The member of staff said it’s not just me complaining, they have had a lot of complaints because they are grossly understaffed. I was told that they cannot guarantee when and if the counter is open. This is also the case with the meat counter. Then I waited for a manager that took over 10 minutes because Customer Service had a long queue and the manager was dealing with other customer complaints. I was told that I should send a complaint to Customer Service at head office. I was also told that there is a storewide problem with staffing and it is unlikely to improve in the near future. The staff that are there I have no complaints against because it looks like they are stretched and doing the best they can. This is a wider management issue. I also had problems with a lot of items being in stock on the shelves but with a label saying ‘sorry temporarily out of stock’ I was told this was because of the night staff not doing the obvious of displaying the price labels. This again seems like poor Management and a training issue. The store seems to have systemic management problems. Next time I will travel a little bit further to one of the other large stores in the area. I was given an email address for the complaint department and that has also bounced. I have never seen such a shambles before.

Really big store almost all kinds of stuff can get from here. It also have a pharmacy. McDonald's is also inside so you can enjoy meal as well as shopping ?
